Hi Brothers!

I am a returning 40k player and this time i decided to pick up my all time favorite chapter, the Black Templars of course!

I plan to share my progress here, and it will be a long time plan, since I don t have much time to paint.

The plan:

High Marshall Helbrecth

Castellan

10x Sword Brethren Squad

10x Primaris Crusader Squad

10x Primaris Crusader Squad

Land Raider

Land Raider

Land Raider

Vindicator

Vindicator

Predator Destructor

I'm loving the work you're doing.

I really like that you've done Helbrecht in black armor rather than the traditional gold/brass. I always thought that looked better.

Can you describe your technique for the tabards?

Hi, and thank you!

For tabards i use a base of rakhart flesh, then i wash with AK dark brown wash and let it dry a bit (or speed up the process with an hair dryer) then i remove the wash on the edges and more exposed parts with some white spirit on a q-tip.

Anyway guys, what do you think about the list? I like land raiders a lot, and i find them fitting fluff wise...

Would you make any change? Since I am in the process of putting the list togheter and i time for changes on the run.

Thanks for sharing. The chaplain is exceptionally cool; I've been eyeing those bodies for some time but never pulled the trigger (I'm assuming that they're from Kromlech/Bits of War).

Glad you liked it!

Yes, the body is from kromlech, needs a bit of clearing but I think they look cool!
