Could be an early indication they'll receive updated sculpts in the near future? Would tick off the last remaining resin characters for Codex Daemons when that eventually arrives.

Updates via 40k or via AoS are safe bets I think. There's a couple of Nurlge looking RE still unsolved which could be Epidemius.

GW are getting ruthless with Finecast at the moment

Very likely that Epideimus and The Blue Scribes are getting plastic models at some point in the future.

Hinting new models coming. However we don't know "when". Ancient Asurmen model has been removed from GW webstore since last summer(?) and multiple rumors said its plastic model witnessed, but hasn't hit market yet.
