Well I guess it is time to move my HH Ravenguard to its own thread away from the Adeptus Astartes section. Since the release of V2 of Horus Hersey, I have been building but not really painting my Ravenguard forces.  My group has been walking away from 10th edition and focusing on HH as we enjoy it more. With the release of Beta-Garmon and Solar Auxilia the group is now prepping for our upcoming campaign. Also we are doing a "Tanksgiving" monster tank battle game around Thanksgiving.

Looks like there are some nice builds in there, especially the Praetor(?) using the FW parts and the bare head from the new plastics. Looking forward to some more photos and shots from the campaign.

@Pearson73 The praetor is a a Tortuga models body with the parts described . Glad you liked it so far

I made some progress this weekend. I was able to lay down some paints via airbrush for my Sicaran and gloss coat it Saturday morning. Sunday I applied some decals.

I was able to get some painting done after rearranging furniture/ setting up kiddos new bed with the fiancé last night. 

 

Hit the Sicaran with another coat of Munitorum Varnish and left to dry for a bit. Then I applied some Vallejo Metal Color Steel to the tracks (not fully done yet) and some Vallejo Metal Color Exhaust Manifold to the exhaust and grill.

More Vallejo Metal Color paints arrived but the Fiancé and I are rearranging the office/ Hobby room with new furniture. So it will be a little bit, before I get to resume working on them. But hopefully all my bits and decals arrive in that time.

And repaired my broken Storm Eagle, I dropped while moving a few months ago. Nothing major just disheartening.

Thank you, it’s a start. I may redo the cabling and hoses, had the kids helping me and green stuff was not long enough. I need to finish up the turret and start doing the command aerials, and flags. Plus I want to added aerials to the pair of sabers

Master of the armoury looking great - I've done similar with the antennae etc for command tanks. Also like the upward pointing pintle weapons, not seen that before but makes sense!

Thanks @Xenith, I wanted him to stand out but not be over the top (no pun intended). The Heavy bolter just gets in the way of poses some time.

Thank you @calgar101, she was a lot more fun to paint then I expected and I still had to do the inner parts of her cloak. I am waiting on parts so I can begin working on the rest of my Sisters of Silence. 

 

I still have more tanks to build; Kratos, Cerebus, 2 Predators, 2 Vindicators. I also need to buy 3 more predators.  The goal is to vow the Master of Arms Sicaran, Sicaran #2, Venerator, 2 Sabers , unbuilt tanks and tanks I need to purchase for @Grotsmasha's Call to Arms 2024 for the Horus Heresy Stronghold (Loyalist). I plan on working on other parts of my Horus Heresy forces in the mean time.

Not too much to do then! As an Iron Warriors guy for the HH(loyalist I must add!), I approve of all those tanks. I can't wait to see them. Look forwards to seeing your Sisters too.

lol my main opponent @Entropomancer has an Iron Warriors and Iron hands  army so a lot of our friends were surprised I did not go Imperial Fists or Emperor’s Children. 
 

right now I have the Sisters models I need for (25 of 50) and 0 of their transports so it’s gonna be slow build but painting them did not take so long… maybe it’s cause of the set I’m using…

 A long weekend and what happens.....Fiancée and I both got sick.  But I did make some progress.

As we get closer to the Call to Arms start I need to really clamp down on the building back log to get my Armored Company built as much as possible to spend more time painting.  But as of late I have been distracted painting Gold for my Sisters of Silence allied contingent and well my 2nd Horus Heresy Army, Adeptus Custodes.
