A huge thank you to these nobles souls.  A group that I can only aspire to perhaps join one day if needed or at the very least emulate.  They have made this forum the home that it is.

I was about to quote Obi Wan Kenobi when he and Luke looks out over Mos Eisly.. But hey, you put it a bit more elegantly..

Not sure if the Space Wolf part or the Ork part is dominant in me these days..

I only joined twenty years ago apparently, but I had a hobby website in the 90s. Maybe this forum didn't welcome the Dark Gods in the olden days.

The followers of the Dark Power did have a home in Ye Olde Times. I'll have to see if I have any screen grabs of the early EZBoard set up.

Refuse, Clonelord, and Moogoo the Great served as moderati in the Chaos Space Marines forums while the site was on ezBoard. There are some others that may have also served in that capacity at that time, but my memory is fuzzy (e.g., kenshin138 and Elijah7 come to mind).

This forum made such an impression even after 8ish years away from the hobby, I was able to recall the its name, and all my log in info when I came back to the hobby. (I suck at remembering any log in info)

and a thanks to every one who helped me get caught up on the vast amount of new lore and all the changes to the game that came with it.

I don't think this is all the sets we have done over the last 2 decades, but it is what I have images for (or found so far)

The original dice we had produced from https://q-workshop.com/en/:

From then on out we switched over to https://customdice.com/

This set started out as part of a Charity drive but we ultimately couldn't convince the dice maker to go with the images presented and had to make changes.

As a die hard Space Marine player (my only exception is also collecting Imperial Guard) I love this forum and thank you for every one involved in keeping it running.

For me, this is the best warhammer 40k forum and long may it continue!

Great times, and I remember the vote to have the individual Chaos Gods in their own forums.

@Kurgan the Lurker Didn't mention the B&C card deck (I believe I will have to dig mine up).

And my favorite topic for 12 years (2002-2014)!

Well I have to spread the memories out over some time righ?! Drip feed rather than cannon ball. ;)

So...if you have been here long enough you may remember the B&C card deck. A fully playable card deck featuring Imperial Suites (Eagle, Swords, Skulls and Stars) and notable characters from B&C. Drawn and color by Aerion the Faithful. Sold them as a fund raiser for the board. Gave some away as prizes. I think I have 10-15 decks still left in the wrap here.

I had the card deck for a long time, I didn't make the cut back then. I think I was a new mod at the time and it was in development for a while, long before me. I also had one of those army bags. sadly I lost a lot of that stuff in my more recent move, but I loved the B&C stuff. Can't even remember when I first found this place. I think I was a Salamanders player back then, but moved more into codex marines, writing up tactics and so forth. Good times indeed. I was somewhere in my 20s when I found this place, I am in my 40s now. So while I wasn't here at the start I was around for a long time. I really do love this place. Many thanks to Kurgan, Bloodsaint, Brother Tyler and many many many others who kept the lights on over the years and kept things running.

Found Bushido’s squad

Do you have more pictures of it? I can't remember any more, that might have been an Inks as the UM. lol

@INKS ; I’m sure I had multi angle pics like the first one but this is all I could find, the pic is saved as inkaras1 though

@Kurgan ; One of my favourites, such an epic pose. Bushido’s conversions were so cool

Now, does anyone remember the contributions to the worldwide campaigns that the forum made?

Firstly, there was the Eye of Terror campaign in 2003 which saw many a participant from the forum. Dark Angels players even decided to go off to their own forum on Shadow Guard's The Fortress of the Unforgiven website and re-took Caliban.

This was followed a few years later by the Fall of Medusa V where different regions were split up to reflect different parts of Medusa V. There were hidden Loyalist and Traitor forums on the B&C and various members took on the role of 'Librarian' to report results and create narratives for the GW main site. There were weekly regional write-ups and our efforts got a few mentions in the Edethor (UK) campaign area (I should know, I summarised our contributions...).

That was very much a community effort though, with everyone contributing summaries of their battles for me to turn into a narrative. I think I still have it all... somewhere.
