roryokane Posted April 22 Share Posted April 22 Apologies if this topic is in the wrong place. I’m trying to find a story - and no amount of searching the black library or Google-fu is helping me. I think it’s a short story or novella where a bunch of space marines are fighting a bunch of renegade marines, and then it transpires that one of them is an alpha legion sleeper agent. He has flashbacks to having surgery done on him. I’m pretty sure Exodus the alpha legion sniper pops up but isn’t mentioned by name. This isn’t a 30k thing as I swear the loyalists are a mixture of firstborn and Primaris marines. I want to say either imperial fists or howling griffons? Either way, I’m going a bit mad trying to work out if I’ve completely misremembered the plot or whether the story is even a thing (very appropriate for the Alpha Legion!). Any ideas, chaps? It's a loyalist who turns out to be a deep cover Alpha Legionarie who thinks he's an Exodus, but then meets an actual Exodus. I've been trying to find it in my Kindle library and can't.
