Brother Raul
Hi All, I've got this friend who loves painting but hates doing bases. Does anyone know of any good battle ready 32-40mm bases? Google give me grassy ones. Like the necromunda bases, does anyone know if they are prepared? (Looks like it). Thanks. Doobles57
Gamers Grass have a Battle Ready range. Literally all done - painted, flocked - the works. They have industrial ones, desert, grassy etc. Just stick your model on and go. Not a cheap option to do a whole army with, but if you hate basing, it's a very effective alternative. Firedrake Cordova
I'm struggling to think of anyone who does pre-finished bases other than Gamers Grass, as @Doobles57 suggests. There are other companies which make plastic/resin pre-detailed bases (including Micro Art and GW), but they still need painting. DemonGSides
I think Frontline Gaming has some flat bases you can glue onto the GW provided base and it adds a little bit to it. Not s fully painted base but a good proxy. MithrilForge
Why Doesn't Brother Raul's Friend Pay Brother Raul to paint up his bases for him ...... On a more serious note, I see your from Melbourne, Metro Hobbies in the City always stocks those Gamers grass ready made bases... But as stated they're not cheap... I hope your friend isn't doing a Guard or Tyranid army... or Orks M Firedrake Cordova and Master Ciaphas 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382764-battle-ready-bases/#findComment-6037749 Share on other sites

LameBeard
If you tend to play on battle mats, rather than heavily textured surfaces, have you considered clear acrylic bases? I bought some to try for my fantasy models, but as usual, it’s a side project sitting on the side still … Firedrake Cordova 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382764-battle-ready-bases/#findComment-6038078 Share on other sites
