Its getting closer but still no Predators or Russes for the core of armoured units  :(

With the way they're releasing stuff I expect those next month with some of the missing planes and stuff. After that a break till the next expansion which might be January?

Ah yes, the classic “how dare someone get

something that isn’t the thing I want.”

Like the look of the fast attack kits, bet the non-printing White Scars players will have been waiting for that one. I can see a lot of people going for the classic 2 bikes per stand with them though, rather than 3 which looks a bit like an insurance claim waiting to happen.

Storm hammers and dracosans look slick and I'm looking forward to getting some.

Pods are one of the biggest scams going, malcs are overshadowed by the specialist versions already out, and the fast attack stuff is 3 worse versions of the jetbikes and the jetbikes lol

Umm people are allowed to voice opinions... he hasn't flamed anyone or cursed them to hell, simply stated that he's waiting for 10th Ed 40K stuff to come out (as am I)

you need the Classic "Chill out Dude"

Cheers, M

P.S.  - on topic, these models look very cool but i see the Pali$ade drop pod for what it I$...

I don’t think expressing frustration at GWs slow release schedule for its flagship game system deserves such a snarky response, but you do you I guess. You really dunked on me there.

Nothing wrong with expressing frustration about 40k release schedule but no need to do it in this thread.

Then it just becomes "why is this getting released if I didn't get my 40k stuff yet"

Going back to LI, with this we know have everything for the currently released expansions except AT and AI rereleases which I'm really surprised about. I wouldn't have expected rereleases of old model to take to longest. Wonder if there is something going on in the background that prevents their rerelease.

Hope it won't take too much longer for them as I really need some Storm Eagles for my Blood Angels aerial assault

That's the same every single edition ever...

Not sure why you felt the need to add this when it's always been the way. Sorry but 40k isn't the only game GW do.

Time to get in queue with those waiting for breachers for heresy which as a core choice within a single game is arguably higher priority.

However, GW will release everything in then fullness of time as always.

Maybe? My understanding is that the next LI campaign book stuff is happening in the latter half of this year, but yes the missing planes and tanks could happen any day now.

It's off topic and against the BnC rules.

Have a gripe, just don't do it here.

We might see the missing aircraft on this pre-order yet. In the last one they didn’t mention the old weapon warhounds in the article but they were on the price list.

Glad to see the fast attack, been looking forward to that.

True and while for the Warhounds you can say its just the other weapon option and at least on of them was announced in the article, there also wasn't anything about the Warbringer and Warmaster in the article, nor the Manufactorum terrain. So only new kits where announced and all the rereleases weren't.

We should be getting confirmation today when we get the price lists

40k releases have no bearing on Specialist Games releases. Two separate studios. You’re not getting 40K releases because of GW main studio design pace not Legiones.

It's funny as Legions is the first 'new' GW game I've collected in years and for me it's pretty remarkable how mercenary things have become (you could call it maximising profit, or good business sense I guess, YMMV):

The 3K base game size (too big, no-one I know plays it as standard), the building kit releases which have been framed as the only terrain to play the game on (rather than more interesting/varied terrain that might involve a customer buying model railway trees or making hills from a model store), squeezing multiple minis onto the base even though it looks crap (like the bikes above) just so it sells a few more boxes, even the hilarious price to points value ratio of the drop pod boxes - waiting for the landed gentry to come in with their all drop pod armies, bought at frankly insane cost.

I guess for people who have kept up with 40k/Sigmar it doesn't seem as bad? Like the frog in the pot of water that is slowly being heated..!

Let's move forward Frater. No, this isn't the place to talk about 40K release schedules.

Anyway... Sicarans is a great release for Marine centric players! A fast moving unit able to put decent firepower down the table too, this could be crucial in opposing artillery gunlines.

Glad to see two bikes to a stand could fly - what say you to one jet bike per stand? Would that be going too far?

I think it looks OK! These might be ever so slightly larger scale (Honda Goldwing equivalent Jetbike) and I've put on a 20mm base.

Price list:

Same prices as always and nothing extra on there that wasn't in the article so probably no flyers. Could still get more since webstore only stuff doesn't show up on price lists but at that point I would prefer waiting so I can get it cheaper at a FLGS

Ah I haven't seen those rumors. I expected them to hold to a once a year expansion drop like HH and Necromunda and the likes. with the last one being at the start of this year, it makes sense to me the next one will be as well.

If you aren't too bothered about being totally legal then 1 per stand is perfectly fine and is what I'm going to do too.

My first few bases tried to fit on 5 marines, but I quickly changed it to 5 for tacticals, 4 for assault and devastators, 3 for plasma guns and terminators - it also makes it easier to spot at a glance what is what, and dramatically increases the collection - 12 terminators per box is 2x5 officially, but I've doubled that with 4x3 and no one cares.
