Sorry for the black nails, I spent time gardening this morning, and it wasn't for Gran'Pa Nurgle

I'll take some more pictures, with a better focus on the paintings.

When I want to set up a new game - here Kill Team - I choose the number of tiles I need for the game. For Kill Team, 6 tiles.

Then, I place them depending on my inspiration.

Then I choose few buildings, and set them on the board...

Today, I feel lazy, so I haven't connected the wires under the tiles, in order to light the gaslight on the board.

Those pictures are not very good as my phone correct by itself the colors. At some point, I will have to find a way to make some good photos...

Well...It is not a story of cameraman. Today, It's a story between Gran'Dad Nurgle and Few of the Thousand !

Looks great  I like scenery-dense boards

Hello @Firedrake Cordova, the same ! I remember those games when I was a kidster, with a board full of stuff, while playing Squad Leader. I'm still in love with too much buildings on the map !

Each game is for me a new opportunity to paints new units. Finish bases. Prepare new type of buildings. That's probably the reason I love this much our hobby : it is more, much more than a hobby.
New day, new idea.

A better view of the board, today.
As a new game, Inquisition vs. Chaos is approaching, I need new objectives markers. So, I just began to paint few crates from a Necromunda set.

At some point, I will have to paint the barrels I have on a drawer, too. Such a dull job !

That does look like a very evocative board to play on

Yes, really ! That was the way I wanted it... When we play on it, we remember events that happened during the game. Even today, we can remember the games we had last year. When we play on the GW cardboards, it's totally different. It's like a game. Not like a movie ...

There is only 1 stuff I would negatively comment in all the (great) things you shared: This picture .

More specificaly the Plastic GLue/cement from Citadel... How disappointing (as would sing Jaskier)...

If I can share an advice/opinion, use Tamiya cement (the thin one, with Green Cap) - it is cheaper and far better than the Citadel brand...

Overwise, great job.

The cement is stronger and requires less dose than most I tested. The solvent is quite volatile so the process of glueing parts is quite rapid vs. Other brands. And as the amount used is smaller too;, in case of mistake, just wait the separated parts to dry and start again. The pencil  brush is also very convenient and allows a precise dosing of the glue which I have been unable to achieve to such extend with needles. Note however that these statments apply only to green tap tamiya. The blue tap is just mewh and not that better than other brands. Same with the orange tap. Did not test others.

Only drawback is that the brush stem it too short and that last 3rd of the pot is hard to use, can be lost...

My FLGS is also offering me the pot when I spend more than I should... It is a more, let s say contextual, reason...

Just to add to what @Bouargh said, as there's a few varieties:

  • Extra Thin (grass green cap) is my standard glue. It's quite quick-drying. It's supposed to by applied using capillary action (i.e. hold the parts together, paint it along the join, and it gets drawn in), but I tend to paint one side and hold them together, mostly due to muscle memory
  • Extra Thin Quick Set (lime green cap) is rather obvious - it's like the regular Extra Thin, but sets noticeably quicker, so it's good for gluing fiddly parts in place
  • Plastic Cement (white cap) is slower-drying, and a lot thicker and "gloopier" than the others. The applicator brush is a lot larger, making precise application impossible, and it tends to be "oozy" (if you apply too much and squeeze the parts together, it'll "ooze"). That said, it's great for gluing feet to bases, or covering large areas.
