Stef Coudou
Well... As the boarding action kit is nearly done, I wanted to stop a little the job on the walls, before getting lost somewhere, in order to work on some more chaos stuff. I've nearly almost finished Poxwalkers, and this afternoon, after a long cleaning session of my brushes, I've been on Flamers of Tzeentch. Poxwalkers were really quick and easy to paint. Flamers were ... well... quite different. I think my brain has been ... I feel different... Bouargh
Very nice. The pastel and the changes from pink to blue are very well done and so Tzeenchians. Flames´colour may eventually be a little bit more controversial, but I guess a green Warp/Warpstone looks quite appropriate on daemons. Very nice trio. Firedrake Cordova
Nicely done. It's a very different scheme, and reminiscent of a "toned down" version of Louise Sugden's Tzeentch Stef Coudou 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382862-latelier-de-stef-stefs-workshop/page/4/#findComment-6051112 Share on other sites
Pearson73
Lovely work on the Flamers, it's nice to see pastel tones on Tzeentch, and the transitions are well done. Stef Coudou
Hi there ! It's been a while since I've been posting here. I've been very busy painting terrain for AoS, and minis for Cursed City. But I won't talk about this anymore here... Beside this, I've also worked a little bit on my 40k/KillTeam/Necromunda elements. I need some more time to optimize the paint job, but it already looks closer to what I am expecting. Stef Coudou
I am even thinking of buying another table like this one (plastic table for gardens), in order to engraving it. It would be very interesting ! dees, Rusted Boltgun, Dr_Ruminahui and 4 others 4 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382862-latelier-de-stef-stefs-workshop/page/4/#findComment-6078813 Share on other sites
Firedrake Cordova
The scenery looks great - I imagine games on such a scenery-heavy table would be great fun! Brother Carpenter
Very nice scenery, and models. Great idea regarding the table, you want to use the table top to create a permanent surface? Dr_Ruminahui
I love the addition of the greenery to the industrial style 40K terrain - not only goes it make the terrain look more natural and part of a greater whole, but it adds a great bit of visual contrast to the heavy reds and bright yellows of the terrain. Pearson73
I echo @Dr_Ruminahui, the greenery works really well! Stef Coudou
Hi Fratus ! I've been working on the Volkus Killzone those last days. As I am now used to work with this color scheme, the paint job is getting very quick. No more than 2-3 hours per building. That said, I have to admit that it would be much better to really finish all of them. Need more tuft, and greeneries ! But it's a ready to play table... Great idea regarding the table, you want to use the table top to create a permanent surface? Yes, the idea was to carve all the surface of the table. This kind of table is very cheap, easily foldable, with a size fitting perfectly for our games. As the top is totally in plastic, I think i could event drill it to create point access for electricity. Well... I've already did this with MDF, and it take a lot of room, when you don't play. The idea was to have a gaming surface we could easily store somwhere. Now, I have to considerthe rate of the WAF. (wife aceptance factor)... Brother Carpenter
I relate on the waf. I once played with a group that had 30*30 cm tiles that everyone modelled with scenery. Only requirement was a 2 inch pavement around the tile so it would interact with other tiles. It was a great idea.
