Zilthai
What would be the best way to run Nykona Sharrowkyn in a Horus Heresy Raven Guard army? Mortitat seems close but Sharrokyn was known for dual swords and a sniper rifle, not dual pistols and a sword. I still want him to have infiltrate and sniper, but at least one sword is a must if not two. Thanks, Z Edited May 14 by Dr_Ruminahui Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382920-i-asked-this-in-the-raven-guard-40k-thread-by-accident/ Share on other sites
Valkyrion
A Praetor can take a Nemesis Bolter (Sniper Rifle) and 2 swords - Charnabal, Power or Paragon A Centurion can take a Nemesis Bolter and 2 swords - Charnabal or Power. Either of these is the way to do it if Sharrowkyn has a Jump Pack. A Centurion can take 2 Swords and then the Legion Vigilator upgrade - this is the way to do it if Sharrowkyn did not have a Jump Pack. Did he have a Jump Pack? I can't remember. TheArtilleryman
According to the lore he is a member of a unique stealthy order that is “a bit like a moritat but not” (Not an exact quote lol) so there isn’t an exact match. Go with the praetor or centurion as above, but if you give the model fancy swords but proxy the rules for Raven’s Talons like I suggested in your first thread, you’ll up his close combat prowess a bit further to better reflect his ability in the lore. Agramar_The_Luna_Wolf
As Vigilator consul or as a Praetor like unit. Praetor is more flexible in terms of weapons and endures more, but as a Vigilator has better sniper rules. MichaelCarmine
I'd also recommend a Preator, possibly with either "Bane of Tyrants", or "No Gods or Masters" Warlord-trait (depending on the allegiance). Have you considered trying the Liber Centura rules? It has alot of experimental rules for known, but "ruleless" chars/units in it. My group has made the decission to allow this rules on events and games in general. Ravens got the Rules for Sharrowkyn, Havar Nef, Raptors, and the Darkwing =] EDIT: But be aware, he's no Master of the Legion, so you'd need atleast an additional Delegatus to make use of a Rite of War! So maybe a Praetor would be the better choice =] Edited May 28 by MichaelCarmine Zilthai 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382920-i-asked-this-in-the-raven-guard-40k-thread-by-accident/#findComment-6043009 Share on other sites

He did, it'd just be a simple change as he had the same type that the Dark Furies use. I like this idea a lot, thanks.
