Deus_Ex_Machina
I will soon be finished with my Rust Bot project and then there will be the remaining models to tackle from the respective Command & Recruit boxes which will be Primaris. But what kind of paint scheme should I use? For my vintage 40K IH the traditional black scheme has been used: https://ibb.co/album/cc2JFj For the 30K version an oily metal scheme has been applied: https://ibb.co/album/PZPNPX Here are two ideas which I had came up with: 1. Swap the main black colour for white. Main armour would be white with black bolter casings. This way I can finally use the black IH Legion insignia from the transfer sheet which are useless on both black and metallic armour. 2. Buy an airbrush and use it to apply a nice, fancy metal shifting colour. But hey, maybe you have a better idea. Lets hear it. Bouargh
Not that this is necesarily a "better" idea, but I really like the Iron Hands scheme that bring some deep dark red tones. But limiting the amount: As I feel like that Primaris are a kind of way back to some war precepts from the HH era, it might be a way to "close the loop". In that sense the Clan Brannsar scheme reposted by @Iron Hands Fanatic is also a great source of inspiration: Firedrake Cordova and Deus_Ex_Machina 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382989-paint-scheme-for-primaris-iron-hands/#findComment-6042528 Share on other sites
