I was using stormlance in my 1000pts games and it was very effective,

now ill try champions of russ with the following list (2 versions)

75 Rhino (strom bolter, hunter killer )

TACTIC

 

Harald, battleleader and thunderwolves go together in a unit, ragnar, lieutenant and bloodclaws enter the rhino. harald's unit goes for saga of the beastslayer while ragnar's go for warrior born. Eliminators and intercessors sit on base objectives, wulfen storm forward.

Lord, battleleader and thunderwolves go together in a unit hunting for saga of warrior born or beast slayer . Bjorn is hunting for sagas too. Eliminators and intercessors sit on base objectives. wulfen storm forward and eradicators go on strategic reserves.

Both look fun. I can tell you Bjorn will be a powerhouse at 1k. He always performs a bit higher than I even expect at 2k so if you really just want something that can smash and grab sagas at 1k he's your guy. Ragnar will definitely do it as well at 1k throwing so many attacks plus that big squad you could potentially multi charge for a big turn depending on opponent. Hard for me to really decide here.
