So it's still a work in progress, it doesn't replace the terrain rules in the rulebook but does refine/edit/alter/specify thing that may be needed in a faq or simply aid the gameplay. An example of something that needs a a FAQ that gets addressed is currently weapons with the ignores cover special rule don't affect models touching/in base with obstacles as the language in the book only described affect models in an area of terrain. So that gets fixed, also port the language from difficult terrain over to obstacles as well in the case of how to deal with a target detachment where some models are in cover and other are not. A lot of is sorta there to aid players decide on how they both want the terrain to affect their game so things like to hit or cover saves are variable and up to players. There is a bit of subjectivity when it comes to stuff like cliffs and close combat/engagements and model height. There is an inherent issue with going by scale because armigers are scale 4 but not much taller than a dreadnought. Anyway the hope is to refine these down and make it visual and possibly adding some diagrams where needed. It also unifies structures into one modified stat line. Their save is still on 2D6 but the structure benefit to infantry is not -1 to hit +1 caf instead of -2 to hit + 2 caf. And structures are now impassable to infantry tat don't intend to occupy them. We also plan on cutting charge distance in half out of structures but haven't added that yet.
