Psycheriest Psycher poll is now up for voting in the Hereticus Astartes Forum:

So, everybody go vote for one of the many excellent entries!

Decided to put it in the Hereticus Astartes forum with announcements in the various other chaos forums, as that's probably the most centralized place to get the votes of chaos posters, including those who don't frequent the more generalized WIP and Honour forums.

Voting for the Stronghold Artificers is now complete.

Please head over to the Master Artificer Poll, and pick your favourite from the four Artificers,

Master Artificer Poll

the Master of the Forge Poll, to pick your favourite Kit-bash / Conversion,

Master of the Forge Poll

the Young Bloods Poll to pick your Favourite entries from our newest Hobbyists,

Young Bloods Poll

Edited by Grotsmasha

I have made an error, and accidentally omitted an entry from the Poll.

This has now been corrected, and the missing entry added, if you have already voted and wish to change your vote,

clicking on the "Show Vote Options" button will allow you to recast your vote.

Master of the Forge Poll

Apologies,

Grotsmasha

Polls for Psycheriest Pscycher are now closed, with Queen of the Blackened Moon's Herald of Tzeentch coming in as the definitive winner.  So congratulations for a victory well earned - both an excellent model and highly appropriate that the pscheriest of them all should be a Tzeentchian demon.  That said, all the participants are deserving of praise and I thank everyone who allowed me to include their models in the sub-event.

Also a big shout out to @Kharn13 and his Angron being the best Chaos model for Call to Arms 2024.  That said, the competition was extremely tight between him, @Antarius's big bird and @Bonehead's Macarius - indeed, the spread between the 3 was the tightest of all 4 of the forums, which attests to the excellence of all their models.

Voting for Best of ShowBest of Forge and Youngbloods remains ongoing, all of which have chaos participants, so be sure to go vote for whichever is your favourite.  In particulare, for the Forge contest @Ezekyle_Abaddon's entry was originally missed but then belatedly added - so if you voted before that occurred, be sure to pop back and see if his entry changes your vote (which you can then do if it does).

I'm sure we will get official announcements about all the above soon (except Pscycheriest Psycher - this is as official as it gets), but in the meantime let me say that I am proud of everyone's entries and the community we created for this event.

Thanks mate, I’m dead chuffed! I echo the sentiment, everyone’s work was on point and the community vibes were great. I’ll definitely be back next year for the glory of the dark gods!

Call to Arms 2024 Chaos Stronghold Summary

First of all, thankyou to the newcomers and returning members who participated in the 2024 Call to Arms, whether or not you completed your Vows, you have all made the event the success it has been. Between the four Strongholds, we all painted 2,300+ MODELS, which is an OUTSTANDING result by any metric.

So, how did the Chaos Forums and Stronghold perform throughout the Event?

Firstly, I would like to once again give @Dr_Ruminahui a shout out for their leadership within the Stronghold for the duration of the Event. His commitment to offering feedback, encouragement, and commenting on EVERY image/post was a significant motivator, and the results of the Stronghold as a whole show that.

Chaos Daemons - Participants vs Completed: 4/5, Pledged: 214pts vs Completed: 179pts  -  83.6% Completion

Daemons have aquitted themselves quite well this year, with 4 Participants completing their Vows almost 180 models, and earning a 80%+ Completion rate.

Well done.

Chaos Knights - Participants vs Completed: 1/1, Pledged:  10pts vs Completed: 10pts  -  100% Completion

As the only Participant in the Chaos Knights Forum, @Xin Ceithan has earned the Champion of the Call badge for 100% Completion, well done.

large.ChampionsoftheCallChaosKnights.png

Heretic Astartes - Participants vs Completed: 14/15, Pledged: 671pts vs Completed:  661pts  -  98.5% Completion

As the primary faction within the Chaos Stronghold, the Heretic Astartes had twice as many Participants as the rest of the Stronghold combined. It then, comes as no surprise that they had the most points Completed points in the Stronghold. Additionally, with just one incomplete vow, they also had an almost perfect run, coming in with a 98% Completion Rate. Pehaps next year they can secure the coveted 100%.  For having the most points completed in the Stronghold, All Participants who completed their vows in the Heretic Astarted Forum have earned the Champions of the Horde badge to display in their signatures.

The Realm of Chaos - Participants vs Completed: 2\2, Pledged:   40pts vs Completed:  40pts  -  100% Completion

With both Participants in the Realms of Chaos completing their vows and earning that coveted 100% Completion, they have earned the Champions of the Call badge for their Signatures.

As with most Events, there are of course Badges for Individual Achievments within the Stronghold,

Starting with those who did not Complete their Vows, the Spawn Badge, these Participants are honour-bound to bear this Badge until years end.

The Moderators and Administratum were faced with the very difficult task of selecting three Artificers from each Stronghold, just three entries each from the many, many excellent models submitted within each Stronghold for the Call to Arms. These three Artificers faced off against one another in a Public Poll to claim the Stronghold Artifcer Badge, and then face the Stronghold Artificers of the other Srtongholds for a shot at the Master Artificer Badge.

Congratulations to @Antarius, @Bonehead, and @Kharn13 for their fantastic entries, earning themselves the Artificer Badge.

Now, you may have noticed the overall Stronghold participants, and points completed are missing, they will feature in the Final Summary where the Strongholds results verses each other will be discussed, any prizes announced and so on.

Also thanks @Grotsmasha and @Dr_Ruminahui! That was great fun, I will sure answer the call next year. I'll proudly wear the badge as soon as I figure out how to.

Strange how inspiring and motivating that was, and how hard it is to get back to the brushes since...

Thanks to @Grotsmasha for running such a fun event again and to @Dr_Ruminahuifor being such a great motivator again as well! Also thanks to everyone who participated! This was once again a great event and it helps motivate me to paint even more than what I normally do.
