My final vow is complete, I am definitely cutting it fine but it's done now and I can safely say that I will not be vowing anything else for the rest of CtA.

Super happy I was able to get this done, and looking forward to the next project. I have quite the Heresy backlog, plus some kill teams that could use painting. Or maybe Legiones Imperialis… This was a blast and it’s great to see all of the amazing work posted by my fellow fraters.

Vow complete: 10 Intercessors and 3 Outriders. I can link other pictures later and I learned a lot with this, but my connection has been horrible and I've been trying to upload this for an hour and a half.

I had fun painting my sisters for this. I'm sorry to see that I was the only one from the sororitas in the competition. But I am happy with everyone else who pledged,  fine works here for sure.

So when do we get the results?

It's a lot to tally up and have life going on at the same time.  Seems likes it took a 3 or 4 weeks last year.

We have a couple of rounds of Voting for the Artificers, and Master of the Forge Badges before the final Wrap-Up. The First Artificer Polls should be up by the coming weekend

@Grotsmasha

Is young bloods going to be running this year?

Edited by SwordMasterJ280

@Grotsmasha I think I got the points wrong on my last vow... Should be 13 points (2 characters + 3 infantry) not 17 as your tracking post shows?  Only looking for 1 point on the Deathwatch Artificer submission because I'll just be using him as a regular Deathwatch trooper (also because he's honestly almost comically small even by oldmarine standards).

Cheers,

The Good Doctor.

Good natured disclaimer: I was a mod on Heresy-Online way back in the day and running competitions is miserable.

Space Marine 2 may, or may not be delaying factor....

...but seriously there was an issue with Polls that needed to be sorted

Voting for the Stronghold Artificers is now complete.

Please head over to the Master Artificer Poll, and pick your favourite from the four Artificers,

Master Artificer Poll

the Master of the Forge Poll, to pick your favourite Kit-bash / Conversion,

Master of the Forge Poll

the Young Bloods Poll to pick your Favourite entries from our newest Hobbyists,

Young Bloods Poll

Edited by Grotsmasha

I have made an error, and accidentally omitted an entry from the Poll.

This has now been corrected, and the missing entry added, if you have already voted and wish to change your vote,

clicking on the "Show Vote Options" button will allow you to recast your vote.

Master of the Forge Poll

Apologies,

Call to Arms 2024 Imperium Stronghold Summary

First of all, thankyou to the newcomers and returning members who participated in the 2024 Call to Arms, whether or not you completed your Vows, you have all made the event the success it has been. Between the four Strongholds, we all painted 2,300+ MODELS, which is an OUTSTANDING result by any metric.

So, how did the Imperium Forums and Stronghold perform throughout the Event?

Adepta Sororitas - Participants vs. Completed: 1/1, Pledged:  70pts vs Completed:  70pts  - 100% Completion

With just the one participant, the Sororitas were never going to claim overall Victory in the Stronghold, however they may claim the honour of earning 100% Completion, and the Champions of the Call Badge.

large.ChampionsoftheCallSororitas.png.be

Adeptus Astartes - Participants vs. Completed: 13/20, Pledged:  799pts vs Completed:  475pts  -  59.4% Completion

With more Participants than the rest of the Stronghold combined, and more than any other Forum in the Challenge, the Astartes had placed themselves well to claim Victory. In the end, however, they also had the most uncompleted vows for 2024, leaving this great potential unrealised. None the less, the Forum was able to paint 276 models in the 3 Months of the Call and earn themselves the Champions of the Horde badge, and all Astartes Participants who Completed all of their Vows may add this badge to their Signature.

large.ChampionsoftheHordeAstartes.png.17

Adeptus Mechanicus - Participants vs. Completed: 1/2, Pledged:  101pts vs Completed:  96pts  -  95% Completion

With just two participants representing the AdMech this year, Victory in the Stronghold was unlikely, however, they could strive to achieve the 100% Completion award, alas, with one incomplete vow, they have fallen just 5pts short, and landed at 95%, which is still a result to be proud of. Well done.

Astra Militarum - Participants vs Completed: 2/4, Pledged:  180pts vs Completed:  83pts  -  46.1% Completion

Unfortunately, with half of the Guard's participants not completing their vows, the end result was a low completion percentage. However, each participant that completed their vows painted 27 and 28 models each, with is a fantastic achievement for just 3 months.

Imperial Knights - Participants vs Completed: 3/3, Pledged: 147pts vs Completed: 147pts  -  100% Completion

Contrary to last year, there WERE some Imperial Knights completed for the Forum this year, and not just some, but some would say a lot. Between the three Participants, they completed 21 Imperial Knights, which is a most excellant achievement. Additionally, all three Participants completed all of the vows, earning themselves the Champions of the Call Badge.

large.ChampionsoftheCallKnights.png.060e

The Imperium of Mankind - Participants vs Completed: 3/5, Pledged: 249pts vs Completed: 227pts  -  91.1% Completion

With a low participant count of just 5, the Imperium of Man have really out-performed expectations, albiet, aided by a mega completion of 100+pts. Between the three Participants who completed their vows, they managed to complete 1/2 the amount of points of the Astartes, with 1/4 the Completions, whilst earning 90%+ Completion Rate. A proper Outstanding result.

As with most Events, there are of course Badges for Individual Achievments within the Stronghold,

Starting with those who did not Complete their Vows, the Servitor Badge, these Participants are honour-bound to bear this Badge until years end.

The Moderators and Administratum were faced with the very difficult task of selecting three Artificers from each Stronghold, just three entries each from the many, many excellent models submitted within each Stronghold for the Call to Arms. These three Artificers faced off against one another in a Public Poll to claim the Stronghold Artifcer Badge, and then face the Stronghold Artificers of the other Srtongholds for a shot at the Master Artificer Badge.

Congratulations to @Brother Christopher, @Chaplain Raeven, and @Nekro83 for their fantastic entries, earning themselves the Artificer Badge.
