Big Mek solo release and Custodes thing...

Just in case anyone missed it in this Sunday preview,

 

The ork big mek and custodes characters that were in the battleforces will be available for pre order this coming Saturday.

The big mek may eventually make its way into my collection to join the various old metal Meks and Spannerz I have.

No rush/No FOMO so stands a chance I may actually get this one!

Could be this years Christmas present from the kids, possibly with some Deff dreads

I can’t imagine I’ll be rushing to buy Shield-Captain Squat anytime soon, but I’ll nab the Mek asap.

The Mek's a nice mini, I just think they missed with the rules.

That custodes gets uglier every time I see it.  I cant image the alternatives options if that's the one they greenlit for production.

The Shield-Captain just doesn't look good. I mean it isn't awful or anything. It's just not...good.

 

The new Big Mek to me looks far too over designed and engineered. It looks more like an Ork Centurion and not in a good way. Probably my least favorite Ork model.

I mean.
It is a Mek.
Being "over-engineered" is what Meks do.

 

That said, yeah. They're not the most Orky Ork model we've gotten recently.
Still fits in the army tho (the head with a metal jaw is the more "Orky" head IMO. Makes the Mek fit better)
