You don't get many BL books that were coauthored.  I think Lee lightner was a pen name for two authors. It could be very cool- two authors spurring each other on to greater heights like Lennon and McCartney.

 

ADB is a slow author as he is a perfectionist. I wonder if another author might help or would it be too much of a clash of approaches.

Speaking of co-authored books: The Malus Darkblade series was a collab between Mike Lee and Dan Abnett. Dan obviously did the comics back in the day, but iirc the bulk of the novels was done by Lee, with input from and discussions with Abnett all the way.

 

...still miffed they teased a return of Darkblade in an event anthology by way of CL Werner, then didn't do anything for years, and then just shut his story down with the End Times without actually filling the major arc in-between first. Sighs.
