Grotsmasha Posted June 25 Share Posted June 25 I've converted the Warhammer+ Vampire into an Archon, and according to the data card it can have either a Splinter Pistol or Blast Pistol, which is the optimal load-out? The only reason it matters is at some point in the future the model will probably end up on eBay and optimal loadouts sell better/quicker. ThePenitentOne Posted June 26 Share Posted June 26 I would only go splinter if I was planning to use a piece of wargear that replaces one, or if I had a poison leaning army and planned to take the poison upgrades presented in Crusade. We don't know if those poison upgrades will be reprinted for 10E Crusade- odds are good, because GW has duplicated a lot of the good Crusade stuff from 9E, but there are no guarantees. Blaster is the better option if you're looking for optimization to sell on EBay, because the factors that make the splinter work better are pretty niche.
