Aye, well worth a watch of that and other videos that @Filmdeg has done.  

 

I have lots of fond memories of the time these videos cover, so it's a definite trip down memory lane.

 

I suppose I should dust off my BFG models ... I do love the Ork ones ...

Watched this last night, Andy Chambers is still proud of what he and the team of designers achieved with this game, and rightly so

BFG was a great system. The use of blast markers was also very clever and intuitive.

You’re probably right but man, I’d take it. BFG was so much fun back in the day and imagine crossing it over now with all the other scale games we have, between AT and LI to 30K and Zone Mortalis… you could make a hell of a campaign.

Great interview. I loved the game, but it died in my area. I managed to collect several fleets but couldnt find opponents.

I personally didn't like the abstract nature of gothic. I did however, love Babylon 5 a call to arms by mongoose publishing if anyone played that?

I loved that game. The campaign system was awesome too. The only problem was that the Patrol/Skirmish/Raid system made it hard to balance. It would have benefited from points.
