Deus_Ex_Machina
I will soon work on these models: https://ibb.co/album/hCBpfY Two bikes boxes arrived today along with plenty of other stuff and in the last days I was busy scraping off paint from Chaos Bikes whose paint jobs dates back to the 90s. Still one bike to go and ALL five bikers. Arrgh! Anyway, the old Night Lord paint scheme has to go and will be replaced by what you have seen above: A dirty, vintage Death Guard theme. You might now think: That´s just a waste of time because bikes have always sucked in 40K. Well, once those are finished I will be painting bikes and trikes for the Iron Hands and then I will have a specific scenario in which only those units battle each other. And it will work because it will be a ROLLING TERRAIN mission with maybe a few ideas from Gaslands sprinkled in to make the bikes feel like they are truly vehicles and not move around willy-nilly like the rest of the foot-slogging 40K stuff. Edit: Painting Recipe All paints are from Vallejo unless otherwise noted. Armour/Vehicle Hull (Cream) 1. Black Undercoat (Rattle Can; Rico Design) 2. Black (diluted with a bit of water) 3. Firedrake Cordova
That scenario sounds like a really neat and fun idea It's good to see the models getting a second lease of life. Stef Coudou, Deus_Ex_Machina and LameBeard 3 Back to top

Firedrake Cordova
The weathering on the paintwork worked nicely - sufficiently nurgly. Dr_Ruminahui and Deus_Ex_Machina 1 1 Back to top
