Necromunda: Hive Secondus is up for preorder next week

What are we feeling on pricing? One would hope it's nowhere near Ash Wastes and Dark Harvest as it has functionally no terrain in it.

This is my hope but given current GW pricing, I'm expecting around £130 (expect the worse, allow for a pleasant surprise if possible)

Forgive my complaining for a moment. The models look awesome but 5 walls and 2 doors, that is all they could afford to put in the box? really? maybe I am being to hard on them, I dunno. lol

--Maybe there is more than that and they aren't showing it.

I'm aok them not putting $200 worth of terrain in the box...... if the price reflects that there isn't any terrain in the box. 

I've got a feeling its probably going to be a similar price to the Necromunda: Hive War box set ($280ish AUD), they'll just go 'oh the Orrus and one spure of Genestealers is equivalent to the ZM sprues' and we'll price rise it up to $300AUD just cos. 

I don't think the value is there compared to the N:HW box, don't get me wrong, but this is GW and they love charging us more for less as always.. so Anything sub $300 AUD I'll be suprised. If its sub-$250, I'll be pleasantly suprised.

It says it has the rulebook so that’s cool. Maybe I can pick this up and get into the game although as a GSC player I’m extra excited.

I'm in for those terrains and since the box is so light about it I don't think I will buy it.

 

I will wait for single release of the gangs but I'm happy something new is on the horizon and they are not space marine.

 

I love marines and I will wait for the BA release but these are so cool. I really like the vibe on Hive secundus.

Although I think the Malstrain are fantastic I'll be waiting to see if I can get them separately later. If this box is sticking around that will hopefully mean they aren't too hard to find on ebay if they don't get their own release anytime soon, though I expect them to be the much more popular of the two sides so still might be difficult to grab.

€140 straight to £ is £117.60 (at time of posting) how much extra do GW normally add on top of euro prices?

 

Could we be looking at this ending up being £110 over here or closer to £120.

 

With third party discounts it should either be close to £100 or just over.

Necromunda has never had limited releases. Hive War is still available and came out a couple of years ago. Ash Wastes only went out of production very recently after a 2 year run, and then only because Hive Secundus is coming.

They're described as a new type of specialist, and specialists are in normal gangs. So I think they'll be useable in normal Van Saar. Not 100% sure of course.

To be honest, I was just hoping they could be mixed in with the old models for visual variety and representing trading post items ... if they can actually be used as the new specialists, then bonus

Since N18 was released I was only able to paint up the doors from the core box. My hobby time has been wholly spent on 30K/40k and LI models. This won´t change in the next six months so I won´t buy this one as this release will only sit unused in my hobby room for several years.
