I get told that a lot, I'm not sure if that's because that's the best that can be said about my painting? It's just masking tape and an airbrush, its not skill.

I think it's a mix of things - the yellow/black combination is very high contrast (generally the point of highest contrast on the model), which immediately catches the eye and leaves you "nowhere to hide" with regards to mistakes. Plus, I remember in the early 2000's people painting them freehand.

I like the Iron Domitar

Fantastic paint job there! Iron Within! Those hazards stripes are very crisp and pop, very well done. Love a infantry heavy force, yours is similar to my IVth legion but I opted for Dreads not tanks.

Can't wait to see more, Iron Without!

Appreciate the feedback!

Yeah the reason I've always held back painting hazard stripes is because I can't freehand them, so my IW have never been hazardous.  With 3d printing and an airbrush I'm zipping through them!

Thanks, I like the Domitar too! There will be more in my future.

Thanks a lot! I do love tanks, and dreads, and stompy domitars!

Apothecaries done!

I have the 10 iron havocs just waiting for their bath in liquid talent, and 10 breachers left and my vow is completed! Very happy so far!

They look good. I like the relatively textured effect you've got on the armour - it contrasts nicely with the shoulder pad trim

Thanks, it's actually smooth, that's just how GW iron warriors paint looks out of an airbrush, but yeah it's a good look for them

Looks good.

Perspective's a funny thing - on the left-hand image, it looks like the missile launchers are going to fire directly into the fans, then you look at the right-hand images and see it's an optical illusion...
