hd3
Per title. I rushed my Havocs to get them ready for a game day and now my squad markings are off on two of them. IS there anyway i can remove them without ruining the paintjob on the shoulder? Grotsmasha
Have you varnished over the decal? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383372-best-way-to-remove-a-water-slide-decal-that-has-already-dried-without-damaging-the-paint/#findComment-6052404 Share on other sites
hd3
No, just micro sol/set Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383372-best-way-to-remove-a-water-slide-decal-that-has-already-dried-without-damaging-the-paint/#findComment-6052405 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
Did you varnish the pad prior to setting the decal? if yes, Microsol softens the decal, perhaps hitting it with more microsol and agitating it with a soft bristle toothbrush could be enough to get them off. crimsondave
Agree with Grotsmasha. If you haven't varnished it, you can keep brushing it with Microsol it will eventually rub right off. I've done it several times. I've done it a few times by accident, so if it works on accident, I think it should work better intentionally :) Sky Potato, Firedrake Cordova and crimsondave 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383372-best-way-to-remove-a-water-slide-decal-that-has-already-dried-without-damaging-the-paint/#findComment-6053774 Share on other sites
MithrilForge
This is the Way! As all of the above have already stated, I have removed decals by using MicroSol on the decal to soften it up again and rub with a cotton swab (earbud) till the decal softens and breaks up and comes off Mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383372-best-way-to-remove-a-water-slide-decal-that-has-already-dried-without-damaging-the-paint/#findComment-6054063 Share on other sites
