*EDIT* confirmed fake.

Saw this floating around, could be fake, could be something. If anyone knows otherwise, mods please delete. But saw this on youtube(valrak) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJyRy74qF6k

The first part seems easy enough to predict, blood angels GW has it announced already. But with T.sons we have had numerous heavy teases of new daemon/blackstone/robots in a recent WD and rumor engine pics, and...... spoiler ahead:

Spoiler

aren't they the primary antagonists at the end of the game in the new space marine 2 game launching next month? About the time T.sons would release.

Things would seem to align well for the t.sons in that regard. But...could still be wrong. Everything after, I really have no clue. I'd bet someone made this as a best geuss. But who knows.

This is really why the 40k "rules team" needs to take inspiration from the AoS rules team. Every army should've been released with at least three detachments to use, and more could've been added via the codices (even though there's shouldn't be paid rules to begin with) and White Dwarf.

Hmm Where are the Space Wolves,  Not sure why i should be getting annoyed not like i know how to play 40K since 5th edition.  I just want some shiny new models for my Space

wolves or better still some updated Primaris version of characters

Rumours are they'll get theirs end of the edition...to tie in with the rumoured returning primarch.

This looks real but and fits in with the established rumours about IG and Eldar releases.

Leman Russ and Fulgrim to close 10th; Dorn and Perturabo to close 11th..?? :huh:

Otherwise, I've a feeling this has been faked based on some educated guessing :geek:

Ooft meter is at high for world eaters, back of the bus with half an army in 9th, last 5 in 10th.

Only books missing:

- templars

- Wolves

- emp children

- drukhari

If we follow rumours there is no daemons book so edition done by summer 2025 in time for the year long narrative campaign dropping a new army (EC I assume) to round the edition out for 11th in 2026.

Worth pointing out that GW released both IG and WE within a month of each other at the beginning of 2023 (so 5-4 months before 10th dropped) Arcs of Omen wasn't a year long campaign, lasting December to May (6 Months). I don't think they do year long campaigns any more (Dawn breakers used the arks of omens model...which was based on the Broken Realms model before it).

It could be likely that they'll either have a new army to drop into the gap (dark mechanicus? Exodites? Insert wishlist here) or more likely, they'll pad out 40k releases.

There we go then. Of course GW could have nipped this in the bud and given us the real road map, showing that were only getting two armies a season...

They'd never do that outside of a massive reveal. I would expect that our next big 40k reveal to be at the NOVA tournament, and that's possibly be a roadmap.

Considering how annoying people were about the previous roadmap, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't ever get another one.

Not a single missing rumor engine post looks at all like Thousand Sons robots do pre-heresy, nor do they match the post-heresy aesthetic of any of the miniatures. I really feel that the idea of us getting a big release is just the usual rumor echo chamber distorting a wild guess into confirmed fact.

Was fun to speculate but figured it might have been fake, .

I wouldn't say the rumor engine in the below comment doesn't match. This coupled with the blatant fluff blurb in the white dwarf, if I was a betting man I would say it was all but certain we are getting tzeentch 40k bots are in the future. GW has a historic pattern of dropping heavy hints like this in white dwarf short stories. But I wouldn't bet on a "big" release. I imagine the t.sons codex will be coupled with whatever this new bot unit is and I would be pleasantly surprised if anything else came with it, but certainly not counting on it.

That is a shame as it would be nice to see the Thousand Sons get some support.

With TS being in SM2, I think them being soon is a decent guess.

Game got delayed a full year, and GW has their timelines set for up to a year if not more in advance.  I don't think there's any expectation of tie-in for SM2 and anything GW produced.  Hell, the board game came out last year.

Their delay adds weight to the possibility that we'll see the return of Russ.

Provided there is truth to this road map.

Edit: Never mind, saw that it's confirmed fake
