Xirix
I feel like they should have just released this first, rather than the first "teaser" which was literally just the title card. Blindhamster
hype loved the first part, so looking forwarrd to this too. Honestly a longer series in this style and quality is what I'd like amazon to do. Wormwoods
I think that one lad we saw a few frames of will need more than an apothecary, wahey. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383437-the-tithes/#findComment-6054686 Share on other sites
Naryn
Soooo... Why are necrons abducting astartes? Pariah project returns? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383437-the-tithes/#findComment-6054688 Share on other sites
irlLordy
I would assume the pariah project needs living subjects to transfer the necron souls into? I suspect this will be released pretty soon though, warhammer subs will be renewed around August 24th/25th, so they'll want to throw out an animation to help sell the resub. Mysterion
This looks exciting, I'm behind on my Warhammer+ watching, this could drag me back in. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383437-the-tithes/#findComment-6054761 Share on other sites
CL_Mission
Looks pretty nice. Interesting choice to make a harmacist the protagonist but happy to see it. More Necrons always welcome. The Praetorian of Inwit
Looks good. Whatever happened to Broken Lance. We got one episode months ago and then nothing about it since. It will also be pretty disappointing if The Tithe is the only program they put out. Nephaston
Uuuhm that Biologis has a chainsword, Illegal loadout! Nice to see some colour variation; a mostly blue apothecary of the third company. And I would guess that Salamander is Sa'kan? INKS
I haven't watched warhammer + in a while. Felix Antipodes
Still languishing I’m sorry to report. Must say I’m extremely pissed off about this. It will take a bloody good model to get me to extend again this year. librisrouge, apologist, MithrilForge and 1 other 1 1 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383437-the-tithes/#findComment-6054815 Share on other sites
The Praetorian of Inwit
@darkhorse0607 Ah that explains it then. I have literally no involvement in social media so I miss stuff like that. A real shame GW haven't committed to the service. A lot of cool stuff. I really hoped we would have got a second series of Hammer & Bolter. Noserenda
The annual report says subs are up, which proves they dont actually need the neat things like the vault or regular animations to get our money... So they wont bother. beefeb
I must say, this is too little, too late for me. I cant see why subs would be up...its a totally sub par service if you want it for anything other than painting tutorials and old white dwarf articles/publications. There are a multitude of painting tutorials online via youtube etc, and the old publicationss....while nice to occasionally view stuff from a nostalgia perspective its not enough to justify the cost. The only thing that may tempt is the quality of the limited mini....so will have to wait and see what thats like. The Praetorian of Inwit
I hope it's good.I actually really liked all the previous stuff. It is just sad that with the increase in subs despite the lack of animation content GW will probably let the service die in that regard. Tastyfish
@darkhorse0607 Ah that explains it then. I have literally no involvement in social media so I miss stuff like that. A real shame GW haven't committed to the service. A lot of cool stuff. I really hoped we would have got a second series of Hammer & Bolter. Wouldn't be massively surprised if some of that was being held up with the negotiations with Amazon. Or at least GW holding off on some projects until they see how things will shake out. mecanojavi99
The description of the second episode confuses me, because I'm pretty sure that after Gorillaman returned he reinstated the Sisters of Silence as a full fleshed organization, even repairing their old fortress in Luna, with them once again acting as the second half of the Talons of the Emperor. beefeb 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383437-the-tithes/#findComment-6060527 Share on other sites
ThePenitentOne
Yep. That's why people who create 40k art should be people who play the game. Just about EVERYTHING they say about SoS is wrong. Caveat: Even the game makers change their own lore from time to time, and I haven't read the most recent dex. As I understand it, however, there actually is an SOS detachment available- and that takes this whole "there are only a handful of SoS in the galaxy" thing and kinda puts it on its head. "They're too rare to risk in battle" but $75 will get you five of them. Wanna tell a 40k story? Play the cussing game!
