This is the Penitent Engine I recently finished to bring my Sisters of Battle 1000pts army to completion. I'm really pleased with it because you can see from August last year when I painted the first one how far I've come in my painting.

It's also really special, because it's the first miniature I've taken from start to finish since my first child was born!

Whilst it's the second Penitent Engine I painted, as a result of doubling up on the Combat Patrol Box it was identical in pose to the first so I even tried my hand at a very basic conversion by cutting the joint of the leg and mounting the foot on a 'rock' (painted cork piece!) to make it look different from the first.

Let me know what you think?

It looks good to me - the re-pose works well  Your varying the colours between the two machines (e.g. the skin tone) also helps keep them from looking the same.

Congratulations on your child (although I guess "sleep" is a distant memory at the moment )

Thanks so much XD

Haha, to be honest my daughter hasn't been too bad. We're first time parents and you hear these horror stories but mercifully none of them apply to us. We're very lucky!
