I saw a rumor that Henry will portray Titus in an upcoming Amazon Prime series. This is exciting and worth discussing.

edit - Henry Cavill will not play the role of Titus… sorry.

Is it worth discussing? What’s the source for this rumor?

henry has already said he’s going to be very careful in considering who he plays if anyone, because then that’s the character he is and he doesn’t feel he’ll be able to play another character…and Titus just doesn’t seem like the sort of character he’d want to be stuck as.

Straight from the Black Blow Fly breaking news desk, eh?

We can now safely conclude that not only will Titus not be played by Henry Cavill, but he will in fact never be played by anyone in live action, ever.

For the record, this is the actual rumour going around in media gossip/clickbait sites: https://redanianintelligence.com/2024/08/15/amazons-new-secret-level-anthology-will-have-a-warhammer-episode/

It's about Clive Standen voicing Titus again in a 40k episode for an animated anthology. Nothing about Cavill.

This is more interesting as Valrak spoke of rumours about an amazon animated production involving space marines. Could that be this? (Just no Idris Elba, possibly)

Definitely don't see the original rumours about Cavil being Titus though

Here’s another link below. I was wrong about Henry Cavill. He will be doing something else.

 No need to upset Ishagu.

It is this, I posted about this some time ago (7 months now) but I've heard loads more recently, Idris Elba is a voice actor and apparently is a mentor to 'Titus'

Just to be clear, this is not linked with the Henry, Amazon, GW deal, this is separate.

Going off that trailer it looks like GW will make up 2 or 3 episodes. The opening bit with the marines and the amazon logo was sick. I'm very excited. An anthonolgy of self contained stories is a brilliant idea. Much better generally to a series with one story, especially for introducing Normies to 40k.

Are the stories going to cross over? Looks like the marine was crashing into a Mad Max Car.

Is this what Syama Pedersen was working on, after GW hired him? it seems to have his "sense" of astartes movement and weight.

Yeah it totally does.

This is made by Blur Studios. Not impossible that he is involved, but it's not quite clear in what capacity if it is the case.

Titus shoulder checking through a car like it is nothing looks really good though, so either way it'll be a visual treat.

It'd make sense, also been rather quiet on that front, but then a while back there was a suggestion there would maybe be "something"... it'd fit. But can't really say at this point. What little we saw kinda felt like it, as you said

From the WarCom article, and the fact that there are 15 episodes based on about 15 franchises, I think GW only get 1 episode.

What bits of it are actually 40k do you reckon? The Marines are obvious. The kid in the brown jerkin could be. I think I saw some daemons with him. The Alien looks like a Tau but I think is not. The guy with the eye tattoo on his neck could be pysker but may well be from some other franchise I'm not familiar with.

Rats, re-reading the article, I think you are right.
