Very low expectations for this.

 

40k roadmap will be good to have, but anything GW "Teases" is likely to be so vague and brief that they might as well not bother. Sure, it'll generate some speculative conversation in forums for a while, but it won't actually give us anything concrete to talk about.

It's in the WHC article that was linked. BB and AoS are the only two games getting actual reveals. The rest are roadmaps and "hints"

With rumoured significant releases for Eldar and Guard, and the not-so-rumoured-anymore Emperor's Children all looming on the horizon, I hope we see some of them in the roadmap. Depending on how far into next year it extends I'd say it's reasonable to expect at least one of them. Hopefully.

 

Just don't give me 3-4 [REDACTED]s, please.

Very okay with that if it's somewhat clear it's them. I just don't want to get my hopes up only for the [REDACTED] to end up being, I dunno, Votann, which they decided to redact just to be mysterious about it.

I cant think of any other codex theyd redact. Itd have to be new or returning

I would expect EC at the end of the edition, so that is probably still one year off. Doubt the roadmap will exceed six months.

Roadmaps are ok but there just an outline given the delays GW has. Given their last HH roadmap turned out to be lies (melee weapons GW????)  this preview is prety much already a hard failure for me.

As you said teases are worthless, mainly because they are short ranged - 2 or 3 months max. Road maps allows you to plan your expenses at least. Or what not buy until update. 

 

Whereas other comments about other games are may be sign of frustration? BB is not that bad. And AoS gets its player base; every one needs its fav toy afterall.

Simply don't watch, don't visit rumour threads and simply be amazed each week at what is going up for preorder. It sounds like it'll be a happier lifestyle for you.

Luckily for you there's plenty of people you can be pleased for as they will be happy.

 

In fairness to the heresy roadmap, it's only the melee weapons that didn't happen.

It's a bit of a bummer hearing there won't any real reveals for 40k or Heresey even though I wasn't expecting much due to their earlier statement, not the end of the world though. I think it's a good idea for them to help everyone set their expectation before hand, should be a little less moaning when new models don't show up.

At that end of the day the pace of  models I like the look of coming out already far out strips my ability to buy-build-paint them so a little downtime is reveals/releases isn't really going to be felt much, it is nice to see what cool things are coming up though.

So World Eaters then? Or is it the tease of the resin Angron model for HH?

 

I'd wager more likely the ascendant mini, although I'm not sure who'd be in the market for a resin version of him at double the price necessarily.
