Hello, I'm Riley, but you may refer to me as Riy or Imriy. Riy is pronounced rye. I am a massive fan of 40k/Horus Heresy, Magic the gathering, D&D, Transformers, and fallout. I'm also a musician, and am proficient on tuba. I enjoy reading, perusing the B&C forums, or practicing my instrument. I have aspirations to march DCI for those of you who know what that is. I'm currently reading the Siege of Terra right now, I'm on the first book currently about 4 chapters in. I'm also a thespian of sorts, having participated in multiple lead roles in my school's drama performances. My favorite faction in warhammer are the Iron Warriors and my favorite primarch is Perturabo (Say what you will, I think he's cool.) I'm a metalhead, and enjoy listening to all types of metal bands. My Top 3 are Rammstein, Sabaton, and Megaherz. Shoot me a DM if you want to recommend me another band, as I am always looking to expand my palate.

 

I hope that I can make myself at home amongst you all, and I plan to enjoy my stay in these forums

I think if those things weren't all in the same couple of sentences, there would be something wrong!

Sounds like you need to need to make some iron warriors noise marines... :smile:

 

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you around the Heretic Astartes forum.... so be sure to drop by and share your work, experiences, comments and questions.  Likewise the 30K forum - I won't be there (don't play that) but the folks there are friendly and would love to see you contribute.

 

Don't know if you are into painting events, but if you are and have some unpainted models you think you can get done before September 17, think of dropping by the 40K chaos or 30K (for the warmaster, of course) strongholds and making a vow.  Or, even if you don't participate yourself, drop by and cheer the participants on!

Welcome! Do you play or just read?

I read mostly, I want to play but it's very expensive :( I do paint though (but actually haven't made any iron warriors yet, primarily a custom chapter. I will in the future, promise)
