Assuming it's 40k related, I'm thinking base decoration, maybe eldar or Necron? It's definitely looks crystaline to me

Given that they say 'educated stab' and make reference to blades, I'm play along and assume its a sword or knife.

 

Could be Votann or Tau, or maybe something we haven't seen yet, like from a Kill Team or a new BSF style game

Craftworld Eldar have crystal blades but this doesn't look quite like any existing one. The shape of the blade doesn't seem Eldar, either - not elegant enough.  Doesn't look Necron to me at all.

Oddly enough, the only blade I can think of that is so dramatically angular is Darktide's version of the Catachan Devil's Claw sword.

 

The Sicarian Ruststalkers also have similarly shaped blades, but the look of those is unique enough that it doesn't match this one.

[Doctor Perils]

Gotta admit, that looks like the tip of certain fw corsair blades to me. Could it be a corsair jump unit for Kill Team (and not Swooping Hawks as has been previously suggested)? Or perhaps a Corsair Prince or Baron?
