I remember IP from way back when I started on the board, he was just really active in the community, passionate about Iron Warriors and just a good guy. Very sad to hear this news.

Such a great loss for the hobby community. I've interacted with Jamie/IP/Iron Daemon forge through the b&c for some 15 years, his absence will be felt by all.

A tragic loss to the community, who’s passion for the hobby as a whole will be greatly missed. He inspired many, achieved much and was a fantastic person - a true hobby veteran.

Rest in peace IP

It was always a joy to interact with Jamie/IP/IDF. His passion for the hobby and the community was truly inspiring. I will be forever grateful for his contributions.

RIP, brother.

I knew I recognized the name but was unsure why, the picture of his Iron Warriors however explains all. I'm so sorry for his family's loss and for those that knew him personally.

His Iron Warriors were truly breathtaking and amazing. He truly lived and breathed the 4th. May he rest in peace.

It might be silly, but I always took a delight in seeing the sheer variety of chapter and warband helmets mounted on the trophy racks of his Iron Warriors.

He was a huge inspiration for me for many years, and I was stoked to see him appear in White Dwarf. Rest in peace.

Sad news and I'll raise a glass to his memory personally. I've met him several times and he really was a good man.

RIP Jamie.

Really sad news, his army focus in White Dwarf was a huge source of inspiration to me when I started the hobby, I would frequently go back to flick through those pages.

:cuss:...
You could always count on IP's relentless support of the community, his willingness to help everyone, his love for Chaos and for his Iron Warriors.

Rest now Jamie, your battle is over.
I will miss you dearly.

Simply heart breaking. He was an excellent person to interact with here on the board.

I remember PMing him in 2008 as a young 17 year old new to the hobby asking for advice on what to expect at Games Day. He very kindly responded with excellent help and detail which made my experience all the better.

Toll the Bell of Lost Souls, for a hero of the hobby has passed.

Cancer is horrendous.

An incredible contributor to the hobby and a truly outstanding member of the community. I always loved what a creative force of nature he was, constantly revamping and re-doing older work with newer models and a continually improving skill set, crafting ever-larger and more elaborate monstrosities to accompany his Iron Warriors on their eternal quest for blood and plunder. We didn’t interact much, but seeing the way he’s been described by those who knew him personally underscores how sad it is that he’d go so young. He had a lot more kindness and creative madness to give. Toll the Bell in remembrance of a titan.

Wow.  Very saddened. He was the consummate  hobbyist. Dedicated, passionate and very skilled. Another reminder of our short time on this earth, and the need to make the most of it. RIP. My prayers go out to his friends and family.

That's an hard one...

Iron Daemon Forge was so inspirational when it comes to Iron Warriors and I remember spending litteraly hours in watching his minis just to get a grab of what I can use in my own army. It might sounds ridiculous but he is the primary reason why I use blue as a complementary colour on my Legionnaires...

He will be missed...

Iron Within! Iron Without!

Damn, such sad news - he was a great guy, always awesome to interact with.  He was amazing with his creativity and willingness to talk with you about the hobby in all facets.  May his name and presence be carried onward and his memory not forgotten.  Rest in peace, IP/Jaime.
