Thoughts on if Daemons join the cult Legion codexes

Yeah if the model is resin I expect it to go to Legends. Otherwise anything plastic I expect to get slammed together. 

 

No more greater blight drones, but we will have GUO.

Just curious as to why you don't think you will get Plague Drones, either as a replacement for one of the units (I would guess the Beast) or as an additional unit?

I can see Plague Drones not being included. Nurglings, Plaguebearers and GUO you have the three most iconic units. Rotigus is your named daemon character. Beasts are a very modern kit, good looking, popular. Plague Drones are an older kit, they haven't really held up as well as Nurglings/Plaguebearers.

 

Plus the DG have a flyer unit aniti-infantry unit already with the Foetid Bloat Drone.

99% we would have similar limitations. Since daemon Index still exists until replaced by codex or officially disbanded, it's quite possibly that you can still use your old daemon allies. This detachment just provide a way to interact with daemon units.

Yeah look likes all the god legions will have a daemon detachment that lets you take half your points as daemons with some strats and other rules that can buff both 

But simple way of doing it but still happy as can easily take 2 GUO, beasts and plague bearers and then all the DG daemon engines with Morty for a pure daemon force 

Still damn annoying we lost possessed at start of edition as they would be amazing with such a detachment,

3 GUOs, rotigus plus Morty seems like a hilarious combo

Auras of the same name can never stack. The highest possible toughness a GUO can reach in this way is 13.

I never said anything about the T aura?

I just said taking Morty with 3 GUO plus Rotigus  would be a funny combo 

The nurgles rot ability would stack though so you can hit something with -3 T before Morty hits it
