From Warlord Games official account in Twitter:

"

We've been absolutely blown away by the amazing response to our Sergeant Sawyer charity figure - to date, a tremendous amount has been raised for The Brain Tumour Charity, an incredibly worthy cause.

On 31st October, we will be removing Sergeant Sawyer from sale - the miniature will never be available again, in any form, for any reason. Don't miss your chance to own this amazing figure, and, with all proceeds going to charity, donate to a great cause - make sure you order yours before Thursday! https://bit.ly/4fnxeTY"

My condolences to his family  he was a legend and one of my favourite things about the old run of white dwarves, his fun little edits in other people's articles.

I still have a shelf of White Dwarf's from the early 2000's that I'll occasionally peruse.

He's a massive loss and did more for the hobby than most will ever know. My condolences to his friends and family.

Dreadfully sad news. A giant in the hobby, and very influential – I hope that his family take some comfort at this sad time from knowing how well he was regarded by so many people.

Let the Bell of Lost Souls ring out for a true hero.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

I'm not technically minded enough to make a banner in tribute to him, but if somebody could I think it would be an appropriate banner of the month.

White Dwarf under his stewardship was arguably what got me entrenched so deeply in the hobby all those years ago, so thanks and RIP Paul.

(My bank account, however, will curse him until the end of time)

Rest in Peace Paul Sawyer, my condolances to the ones he left behind. The hobby world is an emptier place without him.

His original beastmen army in White dwarf was the inspiration for my own beastmen army and the start of my love for chariots.

Still the best editor in chief that White Dwarf ever had. He and that magazine were a big part of my childhood and the hobby that I still do to this day 30+ years later.

RIP Fat Bloke, you are and were an inspiration to many!

Paul's army in A Tale of Four Gamers was my favorite hobby project to follow as a young man. That pic of "Fat Bloke" chowing down on a bacon baguette that he got with his spare cash one month still cracks me up to this day.

RIP to one of the greats.

White Dwarf under Fat Bloke was for me it's peak.

RIP good sir and let's ring that Bell for you. Condolences and love to his family.

I know it was naive and foolish, but I was hoping he'd pull through by some miracle.

An absolute hobby legend and decent man. I'm not one for much emotion but this has struck me.

Travel well Paul, I'll raise a glass to you tonight.
