Xenith
I'm looking at running a HHslow grow league with my grouop, there's a good few that have started new legions recently and I thought it would be fun! I've looked online for various ideas, but was looking at something to also push the modelling/narrative side of things. I've run campaigns before and 3 months seems the sweet spot - people lose interest after that. The rules I'm thinking: Start at 750pts in Month 1 and increase by 750/month to have 1500 in month 2, then 2250 in month 3. Ideally we'd get to 3k, but I don't think people will be able to commit for that long, especially going into xmas. House rules Use the SN Reports house rules for arty armour and dreads (tank saves up to your I value, 1 dread per 1000pts, and am considering the one on persistent templates (grav, phosphex just make the target unit count as dagerous terrain next turn, but no template is placed on the table, needing models to be moved). The league will be 3/1/0 for win/draw/loss, and will be awarding bonus league points for: 10pts - all your characters are named 10pts - you add a paragraph of background to your army in the group Challenges - award 1vp per game per won challenge (from the ZM rules) I'd also like to work in bonus points for painting units over the course of the league, however I'm unsure how to best do it - In a previous event I gave every model Preferred Enemy (Unpainted), but that might be too tough. Has anyone organised or taken part in an escalation league, or have any ideas? Thanks! Brother Kraskor
Great idea! I'm afraid I don't have anything to add except to say Preferred Enemy (Unpainted) made me spit out my tea.
