Still waiting to get back to waiting IW, life gets busy sometimes. Anyway here's some WIPs for additions to the 30k side of things for a next year project. Legion Basilisk and Medusas, I printed a pair of each, then added some details, not shown in these photos. These include custom extensions to the standing area behind the gun, designed as a fold up tall gate and hull mounted weapons. I'll add crew at some point too.

Boo Traitors, yaay Iron Warriors! I attended Apocalypticon in 2014 Mansfield and really enjoyed it! Huge games like that are so enjoyable, fielding huge armies and blowing up loads of stuff! Enjoy.

I love your army, especially all the armour. Those Rhino's are gorgeous and very well done! I like those Lupercal tanks, never came across those before. Over 200 infantry? Can't beat boots on the ground even as Titans and super heavies slug it out.

Can't wait to see the full army and read how it plays.

Forgot to add, I love the Decimators too, always liked the model.

I would have seen you there then, I went to all of the original series of them. I was just as a player in those days, but now I'm a bit more involved with helping put on the event.

Very nice, I was down the side closest to the door, facing some chaos and eldar. Unfortunately my army was mostly base costed.

I'm trying to recall if I took my Chaos or Orks for that year - I faced a Space Wolf player with my Chaos, lots of tough as nails Thundercav.

But back to the pictures - finish this chap yesterday. I tried to paint my official Master of Executions, and absolutely hate that model, and I really don't think it fits the 4th Legion either. So putting down the brush I picked up some 3d printed bits, added a cloak, which I had to shorten, and here's the result.

apologies for the dog hair in the light box.

Thanks, just glad to have him done after having him in a box for a few years.

Talking of stuff from years ago again, I've taken a quick break from IW, to do complete some Black Legion which a friend of mine is borrowing for Apocalypticon. These have been waiting for their bases to done since 2012.

Had a few days off painting - super busy with work/life/family/farm stuff and then I hurt my back moving a hen house, so sitting and painting was a bit painful. If I load up on Ibruprofen I can carry on, so here we go.

thanks both -  I'm carrying on with the painting as I have a hard stop in November and loads still to do. I should have photos of my Daemon Prince up shortly, and then I've got some Dark Mech for my mate to use. Not sure whether to include them here or make them a new thread - we'll see.

Completed Daemon Prince. This was a failed "Iron Daemon" print (basically Perturabo) but in addition to the print having issues, was Daemon Prince sized, rather than Daemon Primarch. So rather than waste this print, I converted it into a Daemon Prince by adding some wings taken from a Dark Mech airship print. I then built a second one with some mirroring and other changes, but I haven't painted that yet.

Cheers guys - was off work last week and trying to stay offline for a break, but I'm back now at work so on the all the time. I've painted quite a lot of IW and Dark Mech, so I'll share the pics here as the turn up on my Blog.
