Karhedron
Can anyone suggest a source of Eviscerators scaled for Firstborn Marines please? Since the old FB Assault Squad vanished, they have disappeared from the bits websites. I think the Primaris Death Company ones would be a bit overscale. 3rd party bits are fine if anyone knows a good alternative. MoriyaSchism
Your only option at this point is to go third party, but the set sold by Tortuga has only one Eviscerator and 6 chainswords for 17 USD. lansalt
The HH Despoiler upgrade set has one, and the gravis captain also has it as an one handed option. Arikel
A primaris scale chainsword might work for you. The assault intercessors come with a sheathed one that is roughly the size of the current human scale GW uses so should look right compared to a regular fb chainsword. Alternatively, the grey knights power armour kit should come with a bunch of 2 handed powerswords, which could be used as is for relic blades or might serve as a basis for conversion. Arikel
Pictures for reference. The difference between fb and primaris design isn’t quite as much as I thought. Might need to add a little more length Grey knight 2 hander Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383931-where-to-find-firstborn-eviscerators/#findComment-6063246 Share on other sites
TheArtilleryman
Some cool chainaxes that would make good eviscerators: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256574088114?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ytuMkoNxQWO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=zLSzlyX6Rui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Also here’s an STL if you have access to a printer: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/heavy-chainblades Edited September 8, 2024 by TheArtilleryman Firedrake Cordova and Karhedron 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/383931-where-to-find-firstborn-eviscerators/#findComment-6063266 Share on other sites
Dagoth Ur
The eviscerators from the Repentia kit is what I usually go for. Lord_Ikka
While not technically a chainsword, this might work. LameBeard
Expensive way to do it, but: https://www.warhammer.com/en-GB/shop/Legion-MKIV-Power-Weapons-Set. There’s a mk ii version as well, but both “temporarily out of stock” on UK site, maybe they will never come back - but they are for first-born before the latest round of scale creep. Not sure if there’s anything in the chaos range you could de-chaosify? Not sure if there’s anything in the chaos range you could de-chaosify? Looks great but as you say, expensive. The World Eaters range feels like it should have something suitable but they all seem to have bare arms. Karhedron
This looks quite a good idea and a bit cheaper than most other options. 2-handed TH and replace the head with a chainsword. More a chain-glaive than a traditional eviscerator but I think it looks the part.
