Something around £135 probably:ermm:

Either that or *gulp* higher. Definitely expecting the Knight one to be higher than the others probably in the £155-160 range.

Seems plausible. The Knight box contains about £45 more stuff than the Dark Angels one so it would be surprising to see them both at the same price.

The DA one is £233.5 worth of stuff, Knights is only £225, no?

Note: The knight box only builds the Errant and the Paladin (I think it's those two) it does not build Canis Rex or the others.

I see they added a sneaky addendum. I think it was the last box that could build Canis Rex.

Yeah, that box was also themed around Canis Rex with his Chainbreaker Lance.  This one's more generic to give them cover to give less of a benefit to buyers.  Kind of a bummer!

Yeah, sadly that was added after. And correct, the previous box was canis and armigers.

That means it's missing the Warden sprue (AGC, carapace weapons, thunderfist) and the Canis Rex spure (las-pulsar, multilaser, pilot and cockpit)

Glad I decided to not go in on a preorder for this. I need pilots.

(Well not need, but would like some more)

I would not be surprised if they hit £140 or £145 this year. I hope they don't but prices still seem to be going up.

And also the armigers could be built as 2 helverins and 2 warglaives, it didn't came with the "full" sprues like this new one does for the armigers (Source is that I have that older box).

A bit rubbish that the Knight box doesn't come with the full Questoris options though I appreciate this will be to keep the box under a certain price point.

My knights came from the Renegade (2nd version) box so I don't have the Canis rex sprue and only had 1 carapace sprue per two. I picked up a Rex sprue from ebay for £10-15 i think to complete the set for loadouts

According to warcom, each armigar can be built as a warglaive or helverin. So the armigars got full kits, but the questoris did not.

Going to say £145 this year with absolutely zero evidence.

This was a pretty good guess! Though it was sadly lower than the actual price of £150 (when buying direct) it also means that in terms of savings, the winner is the Dark Angels boxset (knights are second) Necrons being dead last with Tau a close 4th place. Sisters are the middle of the road.

150? Well that puts them above what I am interested in paying for boxes I am not sure I will ever get to

Yeah, same really. Was half tempted by the Necron one so I could grab the C'tan but £150 is a bit much so I guess my gift to myself this year will be gunpla

Even "whales" have limits on how much they are willing to spend, and I think GW is getting close to hitting the maximum price the market will bear. They were always going to push until they found it. How they deal with it once they get there is another question.

One product line for normal folk who like the game, but set tight spending limits- ie. the MDF Starter box of KT, the light starter sets for 40k....

VS. The Hivestorm or Indomitus boxes for "whales."

I think that's more likely to happen than the consummer friendly strategy of just capping prices on everything at somewhat reasonable (for GW) limits.

Pretty hard to justify a splurge when it's close to $300 CAD after the LGS discount and not even including taxes. I'd really love to buy a great big box of plastic at a "discount", but the price point is so high that the models included need to be entirely on my wishlist for that to feel like a good purchase.

Is that how much Skaventide was where you are?

Yeah, for us Canadians 290 is a tough price point for any of these armies. There is a discount to be had but not much.
