Space wolf/Minotaur list

Every now and then I work on my Minotaurs and I figure I will get some use out of them before the wolf codex comes out and legends out some of the units I currently use. I use Space Wolves for Minotaurs because it's the last codex that has the ability to get away with some of the special characters and dreadnoughts without a lot of "counts as." Kind of ironic as SW were the executioner legion during the HH and the Minotaurs are the executioner chapter in 40k.

 

Arjac Rockfist- Minotaur terminator hero guy with the spear, fits perfectly

Bjorn the fell handed- heavy Plasma-cannon, Again, fits perfectly although I know the plasma isnt the most efficient. Might call it the Hellfrost cannon. Both have blue coils.

Ragnar- I made a pretty badass conversion with the actual Ragnar model

 

Captain in terminator armor- Relic Weapon, Strom Bolter- Black Death- Mostly for the -1cp and charge rerolls

LT with combi-weapon- Frost weapon-cheap and it gives him some ooomph in combat that he notoriously does not have when he skirmishes.

 

Assault Intercessors- Hammer, plasma pistol- riding in the impulsor with Ragnar

Assault Intercessors with jump packs fist, 2 plasma pistols- the swiss army knife of the codex

Scout squad

Wolf Guard terminators x10 2 cyclone missile launchers+SB and TH, storm shields and thunderhammers This is one of the units I need to work on most. I need to find some good spear STLs to sub in for the hammers and arms to fit on the newer terminator models.

This does leave me currently with 100 points to spare. I am not in love with the Redemptor, I think the big humpty dumpty guys are kinda meh looking even if their rules arent half bad. Same problem with Eradicators and I have no way to get them anywhere to use their melta. I am painting a phobos librarian for some reason so I might toss him in with the Infiltrators. Fluffwise the commander of the Minotaurs never goes anywhere without his block of terminators with their power spears and is the ultimate master of micro-management.

 

Maybe drop the Redemptor for a Gladiator and something else? I can drop the redemptor and add a Lancer, phobos libby and still have 90 points. I have a spare incursor squad painted(I think) and hanging around from some push fit set a couple years ago. Or with a spare terminator, I could do a Walf Guard Battle leader and give both the captain, himself, and Arjac a 4+++ which is pretty dang funny now that I think about it. That said, I for sure know he will suffer the same fate as the Strike Master from the Dark Angels and will disappear when SW get a codex. I also have a spare Predator lying around in either variety. It would be easy to paint that up as I would have to order a lancer.

Terminators are looking sweet. I'll post some pics once I finish the first two test ones I am working on. The Atlan parts look frikkin awesome with the new body terminators from the Leviathan set. I skipped the main body parts and just used the rest. If I expand further which I will one day given how I have slowly expanded this army over the editions from the Badab War books being one of the few armies I have not outright sold or repainted although they have belonged to many different codices over the years and weirdly never the Imperial Fists. The main guy there is a good substitute for Asterion also given he has terminator armor and a storm shield but he cant throw his hammer which makes him last ditch choice at this point. I wish the Caestus was useful   :(  coolest aircraft in the marine fleet and mine hasnt left its box since I used it back in 8th for a game.
