Joe
WarCom Article. Alright then - maybe that's where we'll be seeing the leaked Mechanicum for LI? Mogger351
Found it odd that 40k isn't mentioned in the hype video? Maybe it wasn't intended to get a preview but the level of outcry from the roadmaps had an impact? Lord Marshal
As disappointing as the lack of 28mm Horus Heresy on there is, it's probably a good sign the un-leak'ing of the Mechanicum box is happening on Warhammer Day and won't be a Heresy Thursday. CL_Mission
Found it odd that 40k isn't mentioned in the hype video? Maybe it wasn't intended to get a preview but the level of outcry from the roadmaps had an impact? My guess is that for the video 40k is meant to be included in the "and more" (possibly it's only getting a small showing) but since it will be there in some form it's included in the image with the date/time. I wonder just how much of this will be Chaos orientated, the last lot of rumours for kill team were Ratlings and Orks and Impetuous Legolas is probably going to be the leaked Mechanicus box. Will all the Chaos content be on the AoS side or will there be some surprise for 40k? Some splash release before Christmas or a glimpse at something further down the pipeline. ZeroWolf
I don't think the 40k stuff will be chaos related (unless Fulgrim leaked as Angron did and they have to do damage control!) Instead it'll either be a tease of Krieg, promotional miniature or possibly (and least excitingly) the Xmas boxes or the rumoured "recruit edition" that Valrak mentioned in his video this morning. zarkkarn 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384048-warhammer-day-2024/#findComment-6066061 Share on other sites

Clearly, they're gonna do the reveals for all the new stuff the Chaos Factions in AoS will be getting and then following that up with revealing that half of what they just revealed is getting used for the Cult Marine factions in 40k rather than bothering to put any effort into making any actually relevant minis like they did with TSons in 8th edition. The Krieg box would be a pretty big deal and if they were showing it off, I'd expect them to mention 40k in the video then and not sideline it to "and more" if that were the case. On the other hand if the box is coming before Christmas with the codex following along early 2025 I'd expect to see some glimpses of it about now and this would be a good event for it so you might be right and GW are just being coy with this video. Seeing the Christmas boxes now would be pretty useful (planning early never hurts) but not the most exciting to be sure, promotional minis seem like a safe bet. Burni
If the AM box is all that gets revealed for LI then I'm okay with that. It looks like an amazing box and if it hadn't leaked it would have been a stunning reveal. As it has leaked, I could see them showing the Karacnos tank as well or something small like that. Dark Shepherd
Lol anyone remember what the road map said? 40k might just be Krieg and maybe Eldar teasers. Id say we'd have heard about generic marine releases from the rumourverse if that was coming Edited September 23 by Dark Shepherd phandaal 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384048-warhammer-day-2024/#findComment-6066075 Share on other sites

Well other than some BA release there isn’t any 40k to talk about Don’t over hype yourself gang. 40k isn’t meant to get anything. And it’s unlikely we’ll see anything Metzombie, ThaneOfTas, Arbedark and 1 other 1 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384048-warhammer-day-2024/#findComment-6066083 Share on other sites

Gaz Taylor
It is on the preview image though, so it's getting something. What that something is, is open to interpretation. I think it will be a tease of stuff coming up (Krieg?) but probably piggy backing off the Kill Team stuff. INKS
I read the article. It’s really hard to know if the chaos is just AOS. I think so. We could see Krieg i guess. They always promise huge can’t miss reveals and we seen how that goes. Hopefully i am wrong. There is nothing to show off, we know all what is coming for BA. It will be a teaser of what is first next year, or a preview of the Christmas Boxes Sure but we knew what was coming last time and that was the preview. I mean it’s great to wishlist but I don’t know how much of next year they are going to show. If they do then I don’t think it will be much. This could be coupled with Christmas boxes if they are doing those this year. That would give us something to look forward to buying soon and makes some more sense. INKS
I am very interested to see kill team release in that the prices should be interesting. Guess we won’t see that for a while. Have a theory that some rereleases which we have 2 more waves of. Could see this in preview. Should range from 65 for old teams to 80 for teams that are popular in 40k as well. I want to see if new teams will be 70 plus as i expect. Though we won’t get that info there we should see preview of something new as well as rereleases Also I know it’s a downer to think 40k won’t see much. But if we were getting some huge reveal then the original question stands. Why wasn’t it in the trailer? I mean 40k. One of their flagship games got lumped into “and more” I am sure it’s something but not much Edited September 23 by INKS Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384048-warhammer-day-2024/#findComment-6066097 Share on other sites
ThePenitentOne
Hot Take: What if the huge gap in the 40k release schedule is filled by something utterly unexpected... Like a 40k based Warhammer Quest game? I think they'd fly it under a 40k banner to keep it secret, and of course it would integrate with 40k just like BSF did. I know it's a long shot, but that gap just seems too huge for me. INKS
There is a min Titus game rumoured. Recruit edition or something. With space marines 2 being so hot and wanting to capitalize on it.
