Not when it's a 2025 release. That's more a December/ Christmas day sizzle reel type thing.

The question there is how long after the show was the cadia box released? I'd wager it was inside a month or so.

Yeah it went up for preorder on 12th November so just over a month later. Could still happen since an army set would come before the main release and GW's 2025 date would be for the individual releases not "early access" like an army set. That's also why Blood Angels are still shown as upcoming in the roadmap since we only got the army set for now.

But I still would only expect either a Krieg teaser but no actual model or a narrative book this time. Would also make sense this way that 40k wasn't shown in the video if its only a small thing like this

Question is whether or not GW learnt from the latest debacle or not? Do we get something or substance or a big ol’ wet fart like last time?

Debacle? You mean the stream they said not to expect anything from?

You mean the stream that was meant to show the roadmaps and didn't even have the graphic prepared for the total letdown they called a "roadmap"?

Anyway, to everyone saying "Don't get your hopes up, the Chaos stuff is AoS." please keep in mind that some of that AoS Chaos could be ported over to 40k as well.

If AoS get new Daemons then so does 40k Daemons because they're the same range.

Also see T-Sons having an entire edition's release wave just being more Tzaangors ported directly from AoS and a Fantasy model.

It's entirely possible that whatever the AoS Monogod factions get will also be our Cult Marine's 10th Ed release.

Depends on if there's going to be even any demons on show. It might just be more god aligned mortals than demons and they don't get ported over. Plus did any new demonic units actually get added last time? I don't think even AoS got something. Certainly last one I remember was Belakor...and that's it. Odd how demons got to keep cross compatability but HH stuff didn't

If any of the monogod factions, 40k or AoS, were on the roadmap I'd agree but it's just Slaves to Darkness for the future which only have Bel'akor that's cross compatible. A Skaven Underworlds team and the Commemorative Sorcerer with some teases for the StD releases is probably the sum total of the "Chaos" tease. They're the same folk that gave us "Orktober" with no Ork Releases and the "Season of the Beast" with a single Beasty looking release

The Daemon prince was last, and yes it was dual system, its not that strange as the division is not based on any in universe reasons but rather studios. 40k and AoS share the same creative direction.

I'm pretty sure like the daemon prince, spawn would also still get dual system treatment ( although furies did not )

There is also the possibility that kill team gets something chaos/demonic. Yes thats not valraks rumor for next KT.. but the order of things are not always correct in the rumors, besides there is a KT grey knight team rumored and they better be fighting something daemonic ;) That or the orks facing off ratlings are going to be khorne-orks haha

Really looking forward to a possible grey knights KT. Been itching to paint some ever since i played Chaos Gate daemon hunters, but felt the current models are way too squat. Got Crowe down the pipeline but he needs some friends.

That saying, crossing my fingers.

I wouldn't like to bet on any of that KT stuff just yet. I'd wager the ratling/Ogryn team is next along with orks at least as far as the next box goes. The one after that is fair game however. Though sadly it still seems likely that GW will make Grey Knights wait till 11th edition for a full range refresh.

Didnt they do this before with ( at least ) sisters of battle, leagues of votann and world eaters ? The teasing isn't always in order of release date.

Fair point, but while this would be nice to see (for me at least) I have no reason to believe they'll do this. Meanwhile, with two supposedly hefty releases confirmed to be coming in early 2025, that's what I'd logically expect to start seeing relatively soon, so that's where I'm keeping my expectations.

Hmmmmmm

Wasn't there a rumorfor a SM2 box for Marines? Thousand Sons could be part of the same box or get one of their own.

I'm not expecting much but I am expecting to see a tease for Krieg and another tease for Emperors Children, last time they glanced over an illustration of a Noise Marine so something just as small as that seems likely to build up for the eventual preview they might get in Dec-Jan, I fully expect GW to take Fulgrim from the garbage bin like they did with Magnus.

I think you're expecting way too much here. There's Krieg and eldar before Emperor's Children. There's zero chance of an EC tease for something coming next summer or autumn. When did they glance over a noise marine illustration?

Don't forget there's Knights as well. I'm expecting EC to be a summer thing personally, and if anything gets shown off for EC, it'll just be a picture of either a noise blaster or a sword, and nothing more.

During the Warhammer+ video they zoom several times in on a old EC illustration.

That's exactly what I'm expecting, something very small that can be build up until they get previewed early next year.

Heh heh heh. Cynical me says "One Thousand Sons Terminator, One Rubric Marine with a Flamer, One Rubric with a Bolter, and 27 Tzaangors!!"

More on topic: A Thousand Sons box that also includes one or three of those cool eyeball-altars that they use to block passageways would be awesomesauce.

You can't do 1 SoT and 2 Rubrics because the Sprues aren't set up to be compartmentalised.

So it's just like the game then. Stupid shield Tzaangors

A decent TS release might give me the push to finally start them though. I've always been on the edge of picking up some Rubric Marines because I love the aesthetic and don't mind edge highlighting, but the range needed something more I thought

I wouldn't expect anything Thousand Son related till next summer/autumn. We also know what the Space Marine II box is, and it's just a repack of what USA had before, with paint. As far as GW are concerned, that's it for cross marketing. GW don't really have the capacity for turn around releases.
