DeadFingers
Well, the article does mention a "Chaos Sorcerer Tzarketh, Bane of Law" that's supposed to be the commemorative model, so he might be a Thousand Sons model. Pain in the to find that post in their social media, by the way. It's on their instagram but only in "threads". LameBeard
or the orks facing off ratlings are going to be khorne-orks haha You joke but for some of the Rogue Trader era it was the norm for Stormboyz to be followers of Khorne, and this KillTeam was rumoured to be season of the sky and GW does like to hit us in the nostalgia glands … Cactus and Lupercals chosen 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384048-warhammer-day-2024/page/4/#findComment-6066405 Share on other sites

LameBeard
Well here’s my prediction then: Khorne Stormboyz are coming to Necromunda because they get the cool stuff. Also when genestealer cults could seek patronage with the chaos gods to boost their own cult... phandaal
Trying to apply logic to what GW does at this point seems an exercise in futility….but….with SM2 in the stratosphere sales wise it would make sense to try to move up the Thousand Sons if it’s feasible at all. Jet Pack Primaris Lieutenant Captain Titus was a pre-reveal for the new assault squad, and GW said their artists worked with Sabre's artists to make the game models. It would make sense for there to be some other minis to coincide with the game models. Burni
Since there’s been no response article for the LI AdMech leak, I think it’s safe to assume that it’ll either be the reveal for WH day or this leak is crazy early and they want to ignore it. Although they did acknowledge that StD leak which was months and months from release, so it’s probably the WH day reveal. 01RTB01
There's also three new named characters from Martian Civil War who need models... Wasn't Char'nbl Sab'r at the cutting edge of the war and needs a model? I live in eternal hopium... Praying for a sprue(s) containing power axes, power mauls, thunder hammer(s), charnabal weapons. Anything I've missed? I'm assuming so but somewhat sleepy. Chainswords, power claws, fists and swords are superbly covered elsewhere so sincerely don't wish to see any of those on the CC sprues. Gaz Taylor
Tomorrow will be key as it's hersey Thursday. It'll either be melee weapons sprue or the LI leak (watch it be a preator). I think they will ignore the leak and show other stuff. If they can ignore the leaked Age of Darkness box pictures for months and months, I think they will happily wait a week and a bit! I hope they save it for the preview as its probably the thing I'm most looking forwards to! skylerboodie
I wouldn't be surprised if GW intend/ed to reveal - and sell - all the Mechanicum kits individually for a while first, so they would therefore be super annoyed that the big box image has leaked, as everyone will wait to buy that (as they should), rather than pay more for all the individual kits, only for the big box to appear later, like with the marine and solar auxilia battalions. That hardly seems like their M.O. usually they lead with the big boxes and then the individual kits follow later, at least in other games (looks at mechanicus in 28mm), has it been different for LI? The launch box had a lot of the kits but the army boxes themselves released a couple of months after the individual kits. Though with the launch of a new faction it's anyone's guess which sequence they do now. Yeah, my fault though, I should have specified the preview show (which is a week on Saturday). I hope next weeks HH Thursday is the close combat weapons but...well, you know what they say about hope! Tastyfish
I've seen no further leaks about it, but some people I know IRL have been speculating that "Armoured Orks" means new Meganobz I think the Valrak rumours of armoured orks included rokkit launchers and a rocket hammer, so a lot of people are thinking updated Tank bustas with either a few extra kill team specials or a few updates to the unit (to add some shield guys probably).
