I think I previously said that Necrons were an army I could be tempted with when it came to Christmas boxes but this one is an easy skip. I really don't need 2 sets of Lychguard/Praetorians. The Dark Angels box on the other hand could tempt me, price will matter a lot though.

Ratlings look great! The Christmas mini is a must buy for sure.

Well it sure would be nice to get all that additional info they were referencing from the war-com site, as well as the higher quality pictures!

Another job well done.

Yeah I was coming back in to post the same. Now did increased traffic break it? Did them uploading the articles break it? Or was it them trying to fix things and put the stream on the front page where it should have been, that broke it. Place your bets now!

So.

None of this is up on Warhammer Community yet and apparently I missed the EC teaser at the end of the stream which I now can't go back and look at?

Very annoying.

The site is down currently.

The EC tease was just the legion symbol. It's significance is far more interesting than the tease itself. The fact they're confirmed is brilliant. 29 year wait for plastic noise marines nearly over. Fingers crossed for their aesthetics.

"Upgraded". Since the upgrade I've not been able to view anything on my laptop.

They really should stop trying to update their site and the webstore as it's just got progressively worse every time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but neither the Ratlings nor the Tankbustas seem to be based on an upgrade sprue for an existing kit. Could indicate a shift in design philosophy going into the new KT edition, if true.

That's a good catch.  Whilst most of the Bheta Decima included two new tool teams these were less Kill Teams and more 40K release using Kill Team release slots.  This time however I think is the first time the second box in a season has been two new tool Kill Teams.  This seems positive as the teams are closer to Kasrkin, Novitiates, Vespids, etc by seemingly being flavourful in KT but also a useful squad in 40K.

No vanilla marines box seems odd to me

Am further convinced theres a fallow period of releases as theres so much (40k) stuff coming next year; EC, SW, Krieg, Eldar etc

I also have great Wolf hope that as demonstrated by the supply Pug that they know canids sell so freakin well

Interestingly the youtube channel doesn't have any of the legion imperialis content on there (most of the other stuff is on there). Could be the addition in this preview was also a bit rushed due to the leaks?

The things they showed were relatively sparse compared to the other items which got full 360 shots and multiple angle views, while the LI stuff got a pan across the picture they did earlier, a shot of the cover of the new book and 2-3 shots that seemed to have been rushed a bit compared to the rest.

On a more positive note: 2 new factions which are also easily integrated into the existing armies is pretty great IMHO, the game already has a slew of units and this will be a great expansion by the looks of it.

Yeah I can't wait for my Noise Marines to have the same convoluted datasheet that Plague Marines do.

Typo

I very much do look forward to Noise marines and EC in general.

I probably won't play or collect them. But I do look forward to another Primarch being added. I like them despite most of them not being very good. (always nice models)

and new Noise Marines in general will just be a nice addition.

If it's as bad as the World Eaters? Not so much lol

I expect a semi limited range at first. Primarch, Noise Marines, maybe 1-2 other units. / Upgrade spure.

We knew EC were coming but it is good to get an official confirmation.

The Ratlings don't do anything for me and I've never understood the appeal of them but for people that do like them it is good they get a proper plastic kit now and I'm pleased for their fans.

The Tankbustas look awesome. Though given KT doesn't have tanks it does strike me as odd, especially as Stormboyz would have fitted more with this seasons theme. Still, a great new Ork kit is very welcome so I won't complain. Hopefully we see the sprues sooner rather than later.

Although I'm not a Ratling fan it is nice we aren't getting Da Red Gobbo again for Christmas and GW is mixing it up.

The Christmas battle forces seem very meh. Not bad just not very exciting/interesting.

Warcom is down, what was the reveal for Legion Imperialis?

I’ve never really had much interest in Adeptus Titanicus or Legiones Imperialis as games so haven’t really paid much attention to their books. Do you think they’re worth getting purely for their lore content?

The at campaign book is really good, as are the Legio books, which cover most of the lore.

I guess the best thing is sample an online PDF and then see if you think the actual book is worth it?

Or read the comprehensive lore PDFs you can find online?

The Ratlings are “chefs kiss”.

Absolutely perfection.

And they come with a Good Boy

Adjusting for elevation on a Las rifle takes it to 99% perfection.

The Goodest Boi is a win, takes it back to Hundy.
