I genuinely love that the expectations for any website GW makes are so low that anything new which isn't a complete disaster draws a smattering of polite applause from the broader community

Are the articles busted for anyone else?

Every time I click on the two from today (stormcast and 2025 events) I get an application error on the server side

The website has been busted for me since Friday 9/27. I get an error.

I think browsing for old articles just became a nice thing instead of an arduous slog. I clicked on the link to show all Necromunda articles and abive them was an array of tabs for different categories. It remains to be seen how good GW's tagging is but it's a very useable design.

It was pretty annoying that the front page no longer showed the latest articles in order. So I looked around online to see what people were using as a workaround for this problem that doesn’t need to exist. The consensus seemed to be “change your WarCom bookmark to the “All News and Features” page, it still shows all articles in publishing order”. So I did that.

Then any time I clicked on a new article it wouldn’t load and displayed a “server side error”. So I looked around online to see what people were using as a workaround for this problem that doesn’t need to exist. The consensus seemed to be “change your WarCom region to the UK, then bookmark that, then it works.”

I almost did this, then I just deleted the bookmark instead.

Everything posted on WarCom gets discussed here almost instantly anyway, so I’ll let my B&C bookmark be my WarCom bookmark as well. Problem solved, unless we hire GW’s IT web team!

True, but at the same time, I'm about to be way more annoyed than I currently am (medium-low) at not even being able to read articles on there if it still is broken during the reveal show. Half the time they don't say the whole spiel during the show, here can be hit or miss for details, etc

Oh yeah, I agree entirely, and that scenario is one of the ones I had thought of as well. All aspects of a rumor/release/article eventually get discussed here, but not immediately. And to be clear I’ll still read articles on there, I’ll just follow links posted here vs hunting on the site, changing my region, etc. Plus it reduces clicking on the bookmark out of habit, only to get annoyed at the new site layout/ links not working, etc.

I definitely intended a bit of snark/tongue in cheek tone.  The problem isn’t solved at all, I just have little faith in GW fixing it to my satisfaction. The real “problem solved” for me would be the website working how it did a week ago, when (for my purposes/use case) it worked great, vs now, where it fails at its core function.

Is anyone else still having the website notifiy them of the new Sites launch in English and German but not any new articles at all?

Yes. Just checked in Edge and got it but not in chrome. Just done a refresh of cookies and got it again. Looks like a bug you get at first visit but not afterwards.

Rss?

It's oldy-timey technology to receive notifications when a website posts a new article or similar. From a time before companies had the option of spamming a multitude of social media outlets to tell us about <new thing>.
