Check your spam folder, just ordered the Fronteris Battlefield pack and the confirmation email was flagged as spam.

I didnt order Tigurius but I did order the terrain set (despite planning not to!)
I had a confirmation email (from webmaster@hachette-partworks.com if that is any help to you)

Nothing was showing on their website under the shop orders section.
I had a shipping notice Saturday from royal mail (5 days after ordering)

Still no email from hachette but I had an email from royal mail saying that a package from hachette had been mis-sent to Doncaster and has now been rerouted to me.

I was going to order some of the Votann when they're available, but after thinking about it....I'm not even sure if it's actually worth it?

With them being mostly split into 2 issues, and the £5 postage cost each time, to get the equivalent of the Combat Patrol box...it would cost £90.

If I order multiples of an issue I wouldn't have to pay extra postage on eachone, so further ones would cost the equivalent of £70. So compared to the combat Patrol box, it's not even a substantial saving as it was about £80 - 90 anyway from most 3rd party retailers (although it's unavailable now it seems).

 

It works out better value if you compare them to the individual boxes, but even then it's not cheap as such. Really is a shame how the Forbidden Planet has the postage costs now as it adds an extra £40 on. I guess I could wait for them to release and hope they haven't sold out by then?

yeah they might not sell out that much given the meagre savings after postage. the chaos split ones and the eldar guardians and jet bikes were up for a while afterwards.

I'm targeting specific issues, generally in store which keeps the saving (or if it is a combat patrol that isnt around anymore - orks one!)

In Forbidden planet the termagaunts issues have got to the point they've been put on offer for £7.99 an issue and they still arent shifting.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the jetbikes of chaos marine issues go the same way eventually as they seem to be hanging around.

Was much the same with Necron Warriors in Imperium - basically people looking for bargains know that this is the one unit in the collection you can easily get for even less because of how ubiquitous they are in starter sets. A full kit of 10 Termagants routinely sells for £10-£12 including delivery on eBay, which makes the savings offered by 2x magazines (even discounted ones) look expensive by comparison.

So as a heads up, was checking on the past batches to see what was ahead and noticed a change in the release schedule for the US version. 

 

We got the company champion in batch 4, UK got him in batch 7 according to the list.

 

Also do we know of any other subscriber addons in the current batches?

That's why I stuck with TravellingMan and BuyMagsDirect. So long as you're getting more than one copy, their postage costs aren't quite as egreious as FB's.

 

Incidentally, BuyMagsDirect seems to have resolved its problem and has the listing back up.

Is it still postage per different issue's release date? Hadn't considered maybe getting it from elsewhere, mainly just use Forbidden Planet as they're fairly reliable and not had any isseus with them (other than these annoying postage costs)

No, but you can't preorder far ahead like you can with FP. BuyMagsDirect offers the current and next issue, and Travelling Man offers the current and whatever back issues are still in stock. 

 

TM charges a flat £3. Maybe it goes up if you order enough copies, but you'd be likely to hit their free postage threshold before then. BMD also start at £3 but their postage goes up with each copy added.

Any update on whether the US would get the character series models? I just received batch 5, looks like batch 6 came with Tigurius for those of you across the sea. How early did you all get the email about opting out of the extra purchase?

You normally get a paper letter in the preceding batch telling you about any extras in the next one.

Oh, I didn't see anything like that in the last box. I'll keep an eye out, I know we got the company champion a few issues early so maybe this one will come around later. Thanks for the info!

In the UKI subscription you get the letter in your 5th delivery, regardless of what issue you subcribed from, so Varro would come in the 6th delivery

Started to build my Hellbrute on the weekend, and noticed that they only included the instructions for a single loadout? Yet they provide all the parts for various armements?

 

Am I missing something?

They only include the instructions to build the models as per their Combat Patrol loadouts - not any other configurations. Idea I guess is they assume you're collecting the mags to play Combat Patrol rather than full blown 40K. Full Instructions for the rest of the loadouts exist online eg here

Hellbrute is a pretty good model to magnetize all the options, if that's something you want to try.  I used this tutorial for mine.

would love to get the votann ones, but they are expensive to import. not really worth it / a deal sadly.

The Votann set does not look to offer as big a discount vs the actual box as some of the others.
