Karhedron
Just called FP in central London and they said they had just sold out. Not been in in person to check though. lhg033
If you do go, there seemed to be 2-3 stacks in the new magazines area as you first come down stairs plus at least one stack in the overflow area with the sale items (near the graphic novels) I didnt actually notice in the normal location for the partworks stuff if there were any there Karhedron 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384128-hachette-partworks-combat-patrol-summary-thread/page/7/#findComment-6112955 Share on other sites
RWJP
Well I am royally bummed... Saw Issue 39 go up on BuyMags, but decided to try my local newsagent first to avoid shipping costs. They had none, so went back to BuyMags, and the page is down, guessing they've sold out. Then I found out that my local Newsagent has been flogging it's stock on eBay for £24.99 an issue which is why they had none in store! Not at all happy. There are a few coming up that I'm after (mainly the Leagues of Votann) but I have no idea how to actually know when they're available. Is there a specific day of the week for new ones? Do they only add 1 new issue at a time or do they do several at once? Or is there a way to actually be notified? I hope there's a better way than just having to check basically every day every few hours or so and hoping it's there and in-stock All guesswork, pretty much. They seem to add them in batches of 4-8 issues. The last batch (issues 41-44) was added around 10th May, so approx 1 calendar month before the first of those issues goes out for general sale. On that basis I'll speculate the next 4 issues would go up next weekend, but honestly checking the FP site regularly is the only way to catch them when they get added. RWJP
Well thankfully after the debacle with my local Newsagent, it turns out Forbidden Planet Southampton was rather well stocked and I was able to secure the kits I wanted. I was very pleased to see that they had stickers on most issues stating purchase limits. For example Issue 39 had stickers "Strictly limited to 1 per customer" which meant they had a good amount of stock even several days after release (although it did mean having to make multiple visits and with family members to get the 3 copies I wanted ) Thankfully, with Issue 39 now done, I don't have to worry about finding any of them anymore! lhg033 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384128-hachette-partworks-combat-patrol-summary-thread/page/7/#findComment-6113715 Share on other sites

Not sure if something's going on there. The leaks above have been bang on to date so seem pretty reliable to predict what's next. The first post in the thread was updated with the full list of issues based on the leak from GoblinTrader.es which @TheArtilleryman referenced above. So far (issues 21-40), that leak has proven to be exactly correct, so we can safely assume that the rest is correct too. TheArtilleryman Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM (edited) Managed to snag the Wraithguard issue from Morrison’s first thing this morning, on top of the 2 copies I ordered from Newsstand, so that’s the 3 squads I need(want)ed for my army plan. I’ve got the terminators on order for my son for next week. Luckily, there are no other issues I want in the series, or I’d be in massive trouble on the backlog (not that I’m not already of course …) Edited yesterday at 06:12 PM by TheArtilleryman lhg033, firestorm40k and Rusted Boltgun 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384128-hachette-partworks-combat-patrol-summary-thread/page/7/#findComment-6114193 Share on other sites
