Brother Monty
So far I have a boyz squad and the red gobbo and was wondering how to paint orks, I’m a Templar player but I have other colors, my plan is to prime them either white or flat black then waaaah flesh, then a blend :cuss: waaah and white for highlights then earth shade as the final layer, then do whatever on the armor cause I haven’t decided a faction. Grotsmasha
I prefer Contrasts for Orks, The Grotz are 3 parts Plaguebearer Flesh to 1 part Scorpion Green, the Runtherd at the back had 1 part Ork Flesh added to the mix. The Neverborn
However you want. I find that darker colours look more "realistic" where as brighter colours are more eye catching on the table top. Starting with white typically makes the model brighter, black will make it darker. I've got a blog in my signature where I go through my personal method with results. Madao
I am using speed paints (custom mixes) over yellow/greeny-brown zenithal and I love the result. White undercoat does not look good for green contrasts IMO, but it is your call Edited October 5 by Madao The Neverborn and MithrilForge 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384147-how-do-i-paint-orks/#findComment-6068767 Share on other sites
