At least sticking to one style completely works for one group. Mixing it in the army means that one of the units is a style you don’t like, whichever one you prefer. Well I was sort of thinking along the lines of having enough of each style in the respective boxes, but it's probably implausible considering the current GW trajectory ^^' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384251-ec-rumours/page/9/#findComment-6076804 Share on other sites

Two sonic looking units to the non army player would be perceived as confusing so I can't see them doing that. Slaanbull
The dead marine on the Aeldari codex bodes very well for EC visual design in my opinion! No silly guitars in sight. StrangerOrders
....Is that MKVII? I mean MKVII with a breast, as Slaanesh demands, but still... MKVII? Could just be a sarum rebreather or modified but... huh. Nephaston
The right shoulder is very angular and big, shoulder implanted sound weapon maybe? 14 minutes ago, StrangerOrders said: ....Is that MKVII? I know the helmet is usually the most obvious identifier of what pattern the marine is wearing, but let's not forget that one can just swap helmets around. Berzerkers for instance have MkIV helmets along their MkV and MkVII helmets. Indy Techwisp
Still, looks like the official colour scheme of the 40k EC is now Purple and Gold, unless this is just the Codex Cover Artist having a laugh. skylerboodie 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384251-ec-rumours/page/9/#findComment-6076927 Share on other sites
WrathOfTheLion
That could end up being the box color scheme, but I also expect that there will be a couple schemes showcased in the Codex, similar to World Eaters, Death Guard and Thousand Sons.
