I'd love to see the EC box but can't see them sharing if it's a summer release.

 

Can live in agonising hope I guess? With eldar and Krieg already shared I wonder. Wonder what else they could potentially show.

Our first look at sonic weapons in 3D render form, some silhouettes in a video while metal christmas music plays, a couple of very zoomed in details of Fulgrim, maybe something like one full Noise Marine if we're lucky?

 

They haven't really said anything about it being an actual reveal, we're just assuming. It's not baseless assumption by any means, but still.

It's rumoured to be more a spring release with Space Wolves in the summer.

The Hunt Da Red Gobbo competition pictures have been a Snake, a Chaos Star and some (Phoenician) Purple paint so far haven't they? I wonder if this points to them showing us Fulgrim on Christmas Day in the Ecstatic Epistle that's due then?

If EC are coming in spring, given GW just dumped the two major preceding 40k releases in a single preview, and if the two week ecstatic epistle windows continue, a Christmas preview feels like a good bet. The entire launch box might be a stretch but I could see them previewing a single unit with more to come at a later preview event. Fingers crossed

Despite the double reveal of Krieg and Eldar I still think EC will be main course at Adepticon, with Knights being the LVO reveal. Although they might give us a little something there too, who knows. Unless there's some other event between LVO and Adepticon I'm forgetting? They're doing a lot of online previews lately too, so there's a chance they just do an EC special whenever they want.

 

I'll be very happy to be proven wrong with a reveal earlier than Adepticon, whenever that may be.

I wouldn't bet against something major like Fulgrim being saved for Adepticon, but I suspect you'll be proven wrong. Even with GW's fondness for dragging things out, given the cadence of teases since Warhammer Day and Knights not shaping up to be a huge release, I don't see them waiting four months to show an EC model in its entirety even if Christmas is just a single Legionnaire or Lucius etc. We'll see soon enough though

Nonetheless the new hidden image is an amplifier. So thats now almost certainly EC tied with the previous ones ;)

Does someone have the previous hidden Red Gobbo images? Or is someone out there archiving them like Rumour Engines? I'd love to believe that they're all EC-related, but I've also seen some people saying the image of the snake was the Snakebites icon. I missed them all, so I'm in the dark here.

Star of chaos - self explanatory 

Pot of purple paint - EC

Speaker - noise marine

 

I'd say this is quite conclusive so far.

Oh, it's just... stock art of a speaker. For some reason I had the idea that the images would be a bit more bespoke. Wasn't really expecting it to be clearly a Noise Marine's speaker or anything like that, but y'know, maybe something drawn by the same artist as the Red Gobbo. 

 

 

So I guess based on this that the first image was straight up just snake.png?

Could be the rumoured launch box on Christmas (EC Lord, EC Marines, Noise Marines), and then the rest (Fulgrim, Lucius, EC Swordsmen) at a later preview.

What if the Red Gobbo images aren't just generic EC hints, but hints towards the actual launch wave?

Not sure what the Pink/Purple paint could be really, but the rest seems to line up with some of the stuff that's been ""rumoured"".

This doesn't really work with the Red Gobbo's thing running for five weeks but the EC getting at least six kits, should Valrak be correct. Unless they're just hinting at some of the releases but not all, at which point I'd just say the simplest answer is the correct one, that being that they're just teasing EC in general.
