I am just more interested in the marine models. I prefer creating my own characters so I was never interested in Fulgrim in any of his forms.

Respect for this take. I pray for this army to not revolve around him.

I like him.

I do think the 30k model is overall the winner, but that was inevitable with being a £200 block of resin clearly designed to look good in a cabinet, rather than a plastic and practical gaming piece... though even the 40k version's wings are making me a bit nervous - not being as heavy as Morty and Ron's.

I really like the helmeted head. The others seem a bit... I don't know, too sharply angular? Almost like they're a mask and not a fleshy looking face? Maybe a different paint job will convince me.

That i agree with, the 4 bare options are rather close, though Ofcourse its unique to have that many options to begin with, i feel it would be an addition if one had the face jewelry the art has and another a maybe more warped visage ( or even better, half the face more warped and other half closer to transfigured. )

Another thing i just notice, the random rhino and landraider in the bg of the fb image, nothing of it, but its just so incredibly random

Mmmm. I think Magnus did a bit better job of offering variety. One classic proper cyclops, one 30k-ish head, and one face mask:

Magnus the Red

(Still would have given him a beard, myself.)

Based on historic trends i figured we would see fulgrim today, but I was hoping a fools hope to see anything else but. Or maybe in addition to.  I'm a lil' primarch'd out, let's see the boyz of noise.

I thought Ferrus broke the Fireblade with his bare hands during their duel on Istavaan V.

He broke it in their first duel before Istvaan, then reforged it and wielded it against Fulgrim at Istvaan, after which Fulgrim took it off his corpse.

( @Ming the Merciless showed that other image and sees pink and black, but I just see purple in it too.)

I'm going off the Rhino & Land Raider in the background, the colour looks too pale and pastel to be the rich purple I would expect (and prefer) to see (with gold).

Everyone starts off being a little bit tempted, suddenly it is nipple rings and war crimes.

Oh, I'm well aware of the temptations of Slaanesh. Especially speaking as a former mod of the Chaos forum who was very much on the Slaaneshi path with my Divine Flayers. Maybe they'll return. Depends on the other releases.

I prefer the face of the 30K version but looking at the other 40K Primarchs, I think Fulgrim's kinda fits. The Daemon Primarchs are no longer flesh and blood, in many ways they are caricatures of their former selves. In that context, Fulgrim's leering faces are quite fitting.

Yeah for me it’s like if you’ve been forced into insanity by a god for 10k years your perception of beauty and perfection is gonna be so different , so peoples opinions of conventional grace will be different , that’s why Fulgrim in 30k is so stunning because it’s so early on and he just looks like he normal does just with snake tail and wings now he’s truly merged into a warp being not of mortal flesh

30k wins again.

I think they both win, but also there are no winners cause if you like one over the other get it, I think as a ec community we should be proud and happy to have a primarch with 2 options which are both stunning in their own right

I know i said i like that he has the helmet option, but he is still missing that... Alluring beauty of Slaanesh origins. It´s kinda har dto put on miniature on the exact same way as paintings and drawings can illustrate

True.

I'd wager (at this point) on them splitting the difference, and going for a mauve and black, with a fair amount of gold.

Though now that @Chapter Master Valrak says he literally is looking at images, any chance of specifics?
