I quite like it but prefer the 30K version.

I was expecting after 10,000 years in the warp at least one limb being a big ol' Slaanesh claw but I like they included the Fireblade.

The tail is a crab claw in case you missed it, but he's a fully blown daemon primarch in 30k, there's not much reason for his appearance to change beyond at his own will/whim. But given he considers himself perfection, it makes sense his form is largely consistent.

TBF I didn’t realise LVO was that soon, I think I can probably wait 3 weeks. Maybe. Just about.

I could see them maybe revealing the noise marines at LVO or on another community post but I think the main reveal will be at the preview in march

I'm not so sure, there's a fair chance the army drops in April/May, so a March preview might not be put of the question. Likewise knights need a preview somewhere before their book and LVO is the logical slot. That said, Adepticon seems to be the "teaser of a teaser for the summer release" so I suspect HH might steal the spotlight for adoption following the rumours.

Well I’m trying to work out what we have in front of us, we have krieg, end of January early February, Aeldari which apparently they still have Corsair stuff to reveal which could be the January preview, February early march , then we still have imperial knights and possibly chaos knights to go in front which have their own reveals march late or early April , so still a long ways away , but who knows the sooner the better

i think we’re definitely gonna see a little tease in that “what’s to come in 2025” video they do round new years

I think if krieg boxset is on preorder before the 16th the next 40k armybox will be revealed at LVO, though i still consider a corsair boxset a high  probability there.

They also like their mondays series, And with fulgrim being "out of the way" i could see them doing some slaanesh mondays starting in januari and februari building up to a spring release.

I mean if they wanted to they could continue with some of the ecstatic epistles every other Wednesday

My guess would be that the krieg Army box will be available to order before LVO in January (maybe next Sunday will be the pre order announcement) So that GW will show the rest of the aeldari at LVO and maybe even the EC boxset. IIRC we never had two army box sets revealed without being able to order one.

And probably the rest of the krieg range will be available to order a good month after the release of the krieg army box set. So aeldari could be up end of February/early

march.
If there will be a new Horus heresy edition this summer, they could show it or tease it at adepticon as the main focus; kinda like they did it with 10th edition or AOS 4th.

Since Adepticon is end of March (26th to 30th) maybe the Emperors Children boxset could be available to order before adepticon while the rest of the range will arrive after that.

in had assumed, perhaps wrongly, that the eldar release was simply going to be updates aspects and PL with the only new entry the warp spider PL, with the corsair / vyper / yriel stuff coming as its own self contained release later in the year. If they put it all in the one eldar release that will be a huge eldar wave. I’m still holding onto hope drukhari will get more than just a plastic urien rakarth

Well who knows but as far as we know we probably won’t see a release till April/May so reveals around late February/march time seems the most reasonable

*Crosses fingers* gogo plastic Fellblade! Either big or tiny, preferably both.

It is really poor that they haven’t done the Fellblade in plastic yet. My bet is some bean counter looked at super heavy sales figures and said “no”.

in any case they have to get a move on. Only 18 months untill 11th edition and s new round if codexes

Sooo ... who is going to be their match-up, when EC get eventually released? We had Death Guard versus Ultramarines, World Eaters versus Dark Angels; not exactly classic match-ups?! I guess Space Wolves would make sense, as they still have their codex due with rumours abound. More fitting would be the pair up with the Eldar, who have a release coming up too.

Fulgrim looks like what a vanity obsessed primarch would look like 10k years after being possessed by a daemon who used said vanity as a means to possess.

As for anything else to come; it seems that GW isn’t just catering to making EC the “Noise Marines Army”. The EC are slaves to perfection and excess in everything, not just making loud noises with modified instruments from a concert 10k years ago.

(While the Laer Blade is portrayed as using Fulgrim's vanity to eat away at him, the final act of possession is triggered by self-loathing and a desire for oblivion. Fulgrim then got out of that possession very quickly. Like... the events of Prismatica V are the next big thing to happen to the Emperor's Children following Isstvan V, and Fulgrim had already turned the tables before then.)

Noise Marines being pigeon-holed into just the guys who use Sonic Blasters, and who just obsess over the "Song of Slaanesh" is a thing first seen in 2016's Fabius Bile: Primogenitor. Previous portrayals of Noise Marines were as a diverse group, and Noise Marines were the Cult of Slaanesh - akin to those of the other gods.

According to Valrak, the previewed heads are for the EC Legionnaires in the upcoming release. They look pretty classic Noise Marine to me:

Spoiler

ecstaticepistle1-nov13-heads-ywfatd3b8h.

I'll also bring up (anytime someone talks about the Emperor's Children's perfection) that they're insane. Their definitions of perfect, beauty, etc are insane.

"A sensuous delight has been taken in making each Legionnaire's appearance grotesque and different from his comrades. Each suit of armour, every bolter or chainsword, is worked into fantastic patterns and coloured in praise of Slaanesh. Each Legionnaire alters and changes his armour slightly, adding to its quality and 'beautifying' it." - Realm of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness

"The Emperor’s Children were exhorted to savour every sensation and so, in their quest for perfection, they instead became the ultimate hedonists... The Chaos Space Marines of the Emperor’s Children are known for sporting surgical modifications and possessing outlandish mutations, which they see as making them more ‘perfect’ in the eyes of their twisted patron." - Index Chaotica: Noise Marines

"The Emperor’s Children have always taken great pride in their appearance. Once, they considered magnificence of form to be epitomised by statuesque armour and finely wrought blades, but since they turned wholly to Slaanesh they have become ever more extreme and bizarre, bearing garish and clashing colours that offend the eye to mutant anatomies that only a madman could consider a gift from the gods. Provided the end result allows them to sample ever more excessive sensations, the Emperor’s Children are more than happy to adopt Slaanesh’s perverse tastes as their own." -Codex: Chaos Space Marines (2017)

“He was as close to being the perfect swordsman as it was possible to be, possessing the ideal balance between attack and defence, flawless footwork and a pathological need to feel pain.

“Such was the weakness of most opponents, they feared to feel pain.

“Lucius had no such fear... as much as he liked to believe himself to be unbeatable, he knew that was not the case. There was no such thing as an unbeatable warrior, there would always be someone faster or stronger or luckier, but instead of fearing to meet such an opponent, Lucius ached for it.” -The Reflection Crack'd

Fulgrim will slap the Craftworlders/Ynaari around for a bit until Russ shows up and promptly jobs to him, such is the fate of Daemon Primarchs in the 41st Millennium.

In In Wolves Clothing, which as far as I can tell was the last thing written about Lucius, he was specifically hounding the Space Wolves in an effort to get them to wake up Bjorn the Fell-Handed. (As Lucius was interested in duelling him.)

I can see where this could go. He does, and wins. In order to get revenge. And extra angry Bjorn demands a better body, gets a Redemptor chassis, and turns Lucius to paste

Guys ec reveal withdrawals are seeping in, we must get leaks in gws boat lol

“Konenos knew why – he felt the same. [Reveal] withdrawal was harder now than it had ever been. The stimm comedown was harsh... The world outside the battlefield had become almost permanently fuzzy – a low-volume, soft-edged dreasmscape.

“At least we can survive its withdrawal now, he thought, perfectly aware of where this direction led. That may not always be true."

it’s a shame they have steered away from vs boxed sets in recent years. Corsairs vs EC would have made for an absolute stunner of a set.
